It's a great sponge to have for big projects versus the small one

I was looking for the larger size sponges which are difficult to find. I was under the impression these were the ones I was looking for, but they are small and for the small size, way overpriced. Overall, a huge disappointment.

I have searched high and low for this item for years. I had purchased one years ago and used it often for stuck on muck and mars on my flooring. It is a great size for the hand and to hit a good sized spot on the floor. I am thrilled Amazon finally "found" them for me and now has made them available. Maybe they noticed my searches for them on their site?BTW Be gentle with these on the floor or they will scratch! What I like to do is use them on my RevereWare's copper bottoms (yes the great old ones). After a few times doing that, the scrubbie part of the sponge gets worn down a bit and turns much "softer".

Thought description said these sponges were the big onesThey were not!

Great for cleaning bathtubs. The little ones are good for sinks

This large sponge is great for cleanup in kitchen after meals and for countertops. Because of the larger size, the job is easier and faster. I place in dishwasher occasionally to clean but toss routinely when it no longer looks fresh & clean. I always buy six online because I can't find them locally.

Although the listing appears to be for the larger 6" x 3", it is Not. If you order you will receive the sponges in the picture; 4.5" x 2.7". Very disappointed with this transaction.

Scotch-Brite 455 sponges are the extra large, oversize 6.1 x 3.5 inch sponges, ideal for larger hands. Since they cover more area than the relatively small sponges sold in most stores, it takes less time to wipe the kitchen counters and scrub larger pots and pans, and they tend to last somewhat longer than the small 4.4 x 2.6 inch sponges. They sent a 12 pack of the smaller sponges and stuck a separate label on the package which had 455 printed on it. I was taken aback I tell you...that's right, taken aback...that someone would have the gumption to mislabel a package of sponges like that. I'm a kidder...I wasn't really taken aback, just somewhat discombobulated. Needless to say, I returned the mislabeled sponges and expressed my discombobulation, at which time I was promptly reimbursed.
