Great Book
Great book, the pictures are copies, but the notes make up for that. With this book and the proper tools you could take a beat up M1 Carbine and totally rebuild the weapon.

M1 Manual
I recently purchased my first M1 carbine, and was looking for a for a maintenance manual for them. I found this manual perfect for a beginner and now feel confident about tearing down the rifle for cleaning and maintenance. I would recommend it to new M1 owners like me and would serve as a good reference for experienced owners.

Government written manual
You will have to wade through this manual and pick out the information you really need to know. This manual was not written for reading, but more as an instructional manual. Have your Carbine available for review and wish that you have a drill instructor standing behind making you read everything because it is easy to miss important information - take your time.Overall this is a detailed and well written manual, but dry and boring. It will allow you the opportunity to learn everything you need to know to disassemble, clean, reassemble, test and sight in your rifle.

M1 Carbine Manual
This manual has everything that I need to know about my M1 carbine. It is very informative and since M1 carbines are getting hard to find, this manual is highly recommended to any M1 carbine owner. It was as described by the retailer and delivered promptly.

Nice supplemental text book on the M1 Carbine.
Nicely written book on the history of the M1 Carbine. Plenty of illustrations and details for the M1 Carbine. A definitely must for the military gun lover and personal library. Recommend this book.

Great Detail, Crummy Pics
Much of this is based directly off the Army manual, and it includes a lot more pictures that the Army manual, but they have been enlarged so much they become grainy and blurry, so the detail is lost.
