Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Awesome shoes!
Finding comfortable shoes that make my plantar fasciitis less painful has been impossible until I found these ATV19s!! I was skeptical at first that the excessively large knobs on the bottom might be dangerous or make me less sure-footed, but these shoes are so steady and comfy that I am going to buy them in every color. The size does seem about 1/2 a size larger. The shoe is well made and the design is fun and contemporary; would recommend for all ages!

Great Shoes
This was our second pair of the ATV19 Reebok shoe. The first one held up longer than any other shoe my son has ever worn. He has trouble with his heels (Seivers) and these never give him trouble. He plays every sport imaginable and these are the best shoes for comfort and durability. He loves the look and feel of these shoes!

Great Runner for kids!
I purchased these for my 8 year old son. I was pleased theycame in 1/2 sizes as well. As most parents do, I bought 1/2 a size bigger then he is hoping he could still wear them. Thankfully they are narrow on the sides with a nice snug fit in the back. He doesn't even notice the wee bit of growing space in the front. Oh yeah, and he says the crazy bottoms (soles) are like running on the moon. So 5 stars, we both love them!

Cute & Comfy, But a Safety Hazard for ME, LOL
Ordered these 1st in a size 5.5 since I wear a ladies 6.5 to 7 but they were way too big so I exchanged for a 5 & they were still a bit big but I was thinking they might be ok. I put them on to try them out & heard my drying beeping downstairs, so I spring up & head down my carpeted steps. I do everything at a half sprint & went flying down the steps & the back of the shoes catches on the carpet which half trips me & makes me lunge forward and almost fall, luckily I caught myself on the banister. I came back upstairs & was taking a basket of laundry back down the steps, this time SLOWLY & for some reason they do the same thing, the back catches on the steps. Anyways, I figured out why after looking at them compared to my other shoes. The knobby things on these jut out in the front & especially on the back making them alot longer in Length that what I am used too. For example, the little Birkenstock London shoes I have on now measure 9 3/4 inches long on the bottom sole, these Reebok shoes, if you measure from end to end of these jutted out knobby things on the bottom, are almost 11 1/2+ inches LONG. That is like a extra 1 3/4+ inches longer than my normal shoes. It is not that the inside footbed is that long, it is just the soles end up being that long because they protrude out in the front & especially the back. So I am assuming since I am not used to a shoe that is almost 2 inches longer in length, when I was running down the steps (as I have for 19 yrs so I am used to them) I was taking my normal steps down the stairs, but the long backs were catching, I would need to step farther out on each step for it not to do this. And I can't handle that, I go at everything full throttle & go up & down these steps dozens of times a day & I would eventually forget in a rush & end up falling & breaking my neck. So I returned them.~~~~~The shoes themselves I think would probably be super comfy. They do run about 2+ sizes larger & kinda wide if your a woman buying kids shoes. I think they are very bulky with those big rugged knobby things on the bottom, since they do jut out ALL the way around the shoe, but that is my personal opinion.

Great for Mud Runs/OCRs
I usually wear a 8.5 in *adult women's* shoes, but I tried on a pair of the "big kids" shoe in store, I found I wore a 6.5 in this particular model of kids shoe! So I came home, hopped on Amazon, and bought a pair! I bought a size 7 in "big kids" because when I do mud runs/ocr's I wear some rather thick socks, and you're supposed to allow for foot swelling as well. I just got done with a small 3.5 mile OCR yesterday, wearing these shoes for the very first time (I didn't even allow for a break-in period.) I have to say, I've very pleased with the shoe as an OCR shoe. I was able to run right out of the mud pits past people who were slipping and sliding and grabbing onto grass and trees to help pull themselves out. Up and down hills and on wet grass and gravel, I never slipped once.\I also ran the race with a sprained ankle, and felt the shoe gave really good ankle support because of the heel lugs. The 19 lugs on the bottom of the shoe give off a bit of a "clunky" look, but I assure you, the shoe is lightweight (even when wet) and extremely comfortable. This shoe does tend to right slightly larger than other Reebok kid's shoes - so your child can either grow into them, or order a half size smaller than their current shoe!

My son loves them
We went shoe shopping at the mall and the shoes he picked out were 140.00 I just could not bring myself to pay that for an 8 yr olds shoes. So we came home and I started searching for something on line, you should know he is a very flashy kid everything he likes is bright and over the top. These were perfect! Especially the colors and the knobby soles. He couldn't have been more happy when he opened the box.

Dangerous shoes!!!! DO NOT BUY
I bought these shoes for my son for his track practice. He ended up twisting his ankles the two times he used them. The outer part of the shoe is rounded, so if you step the wrong way the shoe will completely make your foot twist inward. He had to miss practice for 5 days an a meet. They do look good, but a cast or crutches don't look so good after you wear these shoes.

Great shoes at a great price
I was looking for a new pair of sneakers for my son that had a little bit of color. Bought them a size larger so he could wear them longer. Lightweight. He loves them. Usually take a little to get him to wear a new pair of shoes but he put these right on and wore them the first day.
