HydeTools 28040 ProShield Stiff Aluminum, 48-Inch by 9-Inch

Arrived bent. Didn't come with handle lol. I think if it had a handle and wasn't trashed upon delivery it would be very useful but as of now it's a waste of money. Why would this product not be shipped in a box?????????????

Item arrived in a box undamaged with the handle. Must be careful using it. It's not easy keeping 48 inches pushed up tight against trim at the top of a ladder and it does wear on the arms, but it does what I bought it to do.

I had to paint the interior of a rather large building, and didn't want to have to hand cut in the wall where it met the ceiling tile. Plus, I didn't want to have to climb up and down a ladder all day, dragging the sprayer behind me. I ordered this to shield the ceiling while I was on the ground, and it worked perfectly, allowing me to move along quickly. I did buy an adjustable aluminum handle to use in place of the wooden one that came with it. It was much more convenient for painting the walls with various ceiling heights. I used the wooden handle for a perch in the chicken coop, and the chicks love it. Nothing goes to waste out here.

Too bulky and flimsy. Paint runs so quickly on this that it drips to the other side and you have to constantly stop and clean it. Mine arrived with a bent corner. The box it's shipped in is weak and likely will happen to others. Don't try to use it with the handle. It will just fold over while you are in use.

These shields are industry standard. So, when I opened the box and found it bent and then on further examination saw the corner eas rolled about 3/4 inch in and a round three inches into the blade i thought thats not normal.So I wasn't happy that the first thing I had to do was repair a brand new shield.Good blades, lightweight and flexable where it counts.But the trip here must have been a rough one.

Where is the 18"pole and pivot neck system as described. I only received the shield.

Great and heavy duty large in size. Worked great
