I bought this to spread preservation oil over the surface of wooden worktops. It works perfectly and makes the job much easier than the usual method.

A great little brush for chopping board oils

I bought the applicator to apply furniture wax to an ornate old chair. It worked to get the wax into the snall nooks and crannies but at the expense of the applicator which wasn't up to the challenge

At a little over £8 for this, it’s essentially a kitchen sponge on a wooden holder. It’s great for oiling chopping boards but for the price, I expected there to be a container to keep it in at least.

Well made and robust

It fits just right with containers with seasoning wax for cast iron etc. But it leaves endless tiny foam fragments on the wax and on whatever item you are trying to season.
