Brain Games - Bible Puzzles (Includes a Variety of Puzzle Types)

My husband really enjoyed these challenging puzzles. He is a Bible teacher and these were fun and entertaining!!

Good as a supplement to catechism class. I hand out photocopies of puzzles to my students. Kids love the word problems and crosswords. Puzzles really reinforce interest in scriptures.

I bought this for my mom to keep her busy during quarantine. She knows her bible and still found this challenging and entertaining. She’s told me several times how much she enjoys it!

The puzzles become more complex as you go through the book. The spiral binding is great allowing you to fold the book back if you are sitting in a waiting room or some other confined space. Unlike many puzzle books that are "Bible based" these puzzles actually are Bible based. There is a repeating theme in the puzzle types and the book is not overwhelmingly one kind or another. It is a lot of fun, complex enough that it takes time to move through the book but not so complex that it becomes a chore that you tire of. Enjoy!

Nice switch from regular puzzles. Some, however, I just can't figure out, but for the most part, this is a very enjoyable book.

Fun way to work the mind and challenge yourself to see how much of the Bible you know. I am enjoying the challenge and do have a Bible handy to look up what I lack in that knowledge. I find the Brain Game series to have intuitive, challenging and fun books that provide many hours of relaxation.

The puzzle book has puzzles divided into levels 1-5, but the puzzles dont seem consistent with their levels of difficulty. I've spent a couple of hours on a puzzle in level 1, but finished a few puzzles in level 4 in less than 20 minutes.However my chief complaint is that many of the puzzles have clues for crossword puzzles or other puzzles that have nothing to do with the bible. I only did a few of the crossword puzzles in the book because the majority of the time I was trying to google answers to clues like "Impromptu Jazz Sessions", "Munsters Bat", "Old French Coin", "Leonardo's Birthplace", etc. For the person who likes random trivia, they might do better at these. However I purposely bought this book because I thought if the bible was kept as a theme, I could actually do the puzzles with maybe medium difficulty. Having to google all the clues is not exactly fun. Disappointed overall.

I received this book for Christmas and have enjoyed it. I am not a puzzle or crossword person, but I do find the variety of puzzles challenging. And, in some cases I am learning more about the Bible at the same time. It is good to take with you if you have to wait for an appointment, travel, etc. It starts out easy with level one and progresses to level 5. If you need to peek...the answers are at the back of the book. I bought two more for friends who like to do puzzles. Spiral bound is also nice so you can fold the book in half when needed.

Bought this for my granny who is in lockdown. she finds the book a little challenging but it's definitely keeping her occupied LOL. She is 94 years old.
