CHAMPION IRRIGATION PD RK-28C Replacement Solenoid Kit

I use this on an Orbit 1” sprinkler valve. (Orbit doesn’t make them anymore?). Works great, make sure to remove the old O- ring (other wise you will have two and won’t work).

Did the job. Controller now working. Easy replacement.

Works perfect on an Imperial valve from 1993.It doesn't come pre-assembled and doesn't come with assembly instructions.

This is one of those delightful cases where the replacement is better than the original. I recently had to replace the solenoid on a very old inline Champion valve (an old plastic version) that requires you to disconnect the wires to unscrew the solenoid lest the wires get twisted. I was worried because the old solenoid looks different from the replacement wherein the coil slides over a separate screw-in metal part that seals the valve chamber. The new solenoid works perfectly & now I can easily remove the coil without worrying about twisting the wires. C.K.

have not installed it yet but it arrived outside of the box and was not in pieces

The solenoid pictured and on our system does not match the one that was sent. Although both have same part number. Unable to use or return.

The replacement solenoid worked very well, and the price was very reasonable
