Let's Do Organic Unsweetened Coconut Shredded, Fine Shred, 8 oz

A great thinly shredded coconut! I like this coconut because there is no added sugars or unnecessary products added to it. Since it is shredded coconut that had been dehydrated, once it is opened, and the air tight seal is broken, it will dry out quickly. However, I try and keep mine fresh by keeping it rubber banded, inside a zip lock bag, inside the fridge (pictured below). It is great for cooking, I use it for baking cookies, adding it to my smoothies, putting it in my yogurt, and anything that could use some coconut. Good product that is organic and sugar free!

This organic unsweetened coconut is shredded into smaller pieces. Do not expect the larger pieces as in the sweetened coconut. That being said, it works well in many recipies and adds the right amount of flavor without being overpowering. Also, I ordered several different items from Amazon and this item was just as listed and came first in the group. I would definitely order more items from this company! The service was fast and I felt if I had any issues I could call and they would make it right.

You do need to be aware this is a "fine shred" and not a coconut flake. However it has a great taste and lasts long in the freezer. You can add it to curry dishes or yogurt- any where you want a coconut taste!

I use this in and to top off acai bowls and smoothies. Its perfectly shredded and tastes great. I have had this for about and month and make around 6 smoothies/bowls a week. I still have a little more than a fourth a package left and I make sure to rubber band and pack it in a bag and it still is as fresh and tasty as the day I opened it.

It is exactly what they say it is. I was expecting a slightly courser grind and a bit moister. It does brown very quickly when toasting (I burned the first batch), so watch it closely if you are doing that. The flavor is good.

Very crisp and delicious. There's a good amount in the package and the product is nice and white even though it's organic. Great on oatmeal or to just snack on.

Love adding this to my smoothies for more coconut flavor. Also, works great in cookies when you don't need extra sweetener or big chunks of coconut to get stuck in your teeth. Wish Amazon would stock it more!

Save mucho $$ by making coconut milk for cooking as you need it with this great product. Need Ninja or Vitamix. The fine shred is best for fastest way to soak then blend.
