Q: Anyone who has built a woodworking table, how have the wheels held up over time

I bought these for my heavy duty woodworking table about a year ago and they are just as good as the day I installed them. See my review of these casters titled - "The Wheels Make the Workbench Versatile" reviewed on March 22, 2022 to see a picture of my woodworking table. All I do to keep them "tip-top" is lubricate them every few months after washing my garage/wood shop.

Q: Can these be welded to a base?

Sure. I would just tack weld at the four corners. Take it easy with the heat so you don’t melt the grease out of the bearings. Might want to shield the tires from hot sparks.

Q: Are these casters water resistant?

The casters on our table are washed every so often especially when we do smooth sanding and a film of wood dust settles on all the tables surfaces. We also use light spray on oil to prevent the frame, wheels and the internal ball bearings from corroding. So, yes they can resist water but a light oil once in a while will make them rust resistant.

Q: Where are these made?

I’m not sure where they’re made but they are very heavy duty and very dependable. These casters hold up a 1,000lb machine of mine and can move around with no issues whatsoever. They also have a great locking mechanism.
