This SHEEPSKIN ELITE Chamois Car Drying Towel XL Mega Size (5.7-6.2 sq ft) Chamois Cloth works as expected for me. I followed the instructions to prep the Chamois, and insured the yellowing was not showing up in the clean water from the Chamois as directed, before hanging up to dry. After drying, I soaked it again to get it wet, wringed it out, and dried my car. It worked as expected (no streaks, no residue, just shiny clean). I've been using Chamois cloths since the 70's, and I still use them. They dry my current vehicles (HarleyDavidson, 2004 T-Bird & 2016 Prius Touring Model) quickly, and leaving my vehicles looking great.

Love this natural chamois. I’ve tried the new man-made absorbent materials and they don’t compare. Soaks up the water and doesn't leave streaks. All around great quality too.

It was not what I expected the item was too small and thin but for the price it was fine

I had a chamois decades ago and then came the wave of popularity around micro fiber. Problem with those crappy packs of cloths is that the second they fall on a dirty garage floor, it's trash. You have hundreds/thousands of pieces of debris in there that you'll never ever get out and if you use the cloth in that state, it will scratch up your paint!!! If you're already hand washing your car, you likely really care about it and don't want to scratch or swirl the paint at all. . Now, some people have complained it's the wrong size. I hope (HOPE) that people realize this 5.7sq ft is not going to be a 5 and a half foot long towel. Mines is about 3ftx2ft or just a little under. which surprise is 5.5-6sq ft lol . It's exceptionally absorbent, I use it to dry my cars and they sparkle. Not a single bead of water left behind. No water spots, no lint, no scratches, just sparkling paint under clearcoat. . I'm thinking about buying another for my kitchen. Wish they dyed them black sorta but whatever. Tan is fine. . One note, like other reviews, make sure to give it a warm bath with some soap. There's a layer of oil on it to preserve it but the oil is a bit saturated. I used dawn dish soap. gave it some lather rubbing the chamois on itself and let it hang from my shower rod. It's soft, not oily and when it's dry I fold it and keep it in the original plastic bag it came in. Any 1gallon ziplock will work but I'll use the bag it came in until it breaks lol. The Amazon listing goes out of its way to hide the origin of this chamois. There is no Country of Origin information readily accessible on the listing. They say, "Sheepskin Elite, originating from Alberta, Canada". They then go on to talk about Australian WOOL (the seat covers). This leads Rufus to think that the chamois are made from Australian LEATHER. I ordered one. In VERY TINY print at the bottom of the Information page, it says Made in China. If you are going to enrich the Chinese Communist Party, at least own up to it. It appears to be a relatively nice chamois. I just HATE deceptive advertising.
