Q: Anyone ever use this for goats?

I have several customers that use these for goats and love them.

Q: How do you create a doorway? From the looks of it, you'd need to always pick up the reel end and unhook the earth anchors?

You are correct Kathy, you just pick up the two anchor lines on the corner and pick up the reel and open it like a door keeping some tension on the lines. You can either step it in and leave it open or close it. We use it camping for the horses. Most of the time if I am not moving the horses in or out I just turn off the energizer and step over the fence. This is by far the best designed portable that I have seen. It is literally 5 minutes to put up and take down. I paired with a B10 battery operated energizer that takes 6 D cells and it gives plenty of bite to deter a horse trained to electric fences. I just used a piece of metal rod that I had around for a ground rod. I hope this helps.

Q: Anyone tried using this for alpacas and sheep together? Hoping to buy something that keeps alpacas and sheep in while keeping the coyotes out.

I've never been able to keep my llamas in containment with Sims electric fencing also it is highly unlikely you will keep Coyotes out with this. Works fine for horses and probably cows

Q: Can you purchase replacement guylines?

Yes, replacement wires are available. Both turbowire (higher conductivity, product #2A9977) and polywire (product #2A9976) replacements are available. I don't believe these are available on Amazon however.
