APS 6in Black Stainless Steel Running Boards Compatible with Ram ProMaster 136in 159in Wheelbase 14-25

Pros-These boards look great and are wrapped solid in thick plastic to resist the Ohio elements.Boards are rock solid and protrude enough for my work boots to step up on without kicking my van, yet not so much as to get smashed up like all the big boards on the Amazon vans.Installation hardware truly is made for this van and is an exact fit.Do not be deterred by the instructions to drill into your truck. The only holes required are in the pinch weld, not your finish paint, not underneath laying on your back. And the brackets locate the hole placement for you so you will drill one time only, in the correct place. Easy, peasy.Installation took me about 3 hours, messing around on a lazy Sunday. But it could have gone much faster if I wanted to.I absolutely will buy these exact boards again if I get another Promaster in the future.Cons-None. Although I would have preferred a set of two long boards rather than one short and one long for appearance.

Easy to install, looks good, great help in getting into the van.

The running boards came very well packed. The instructions were clear. And I especially liked that the torque values were included in the instructions. The boards look factory installed. Thanks and God bless, Tim

Although I was able to make them work, these Running Boards DO NOT fit a 2020 RAM Promaster as advertised. The front mounting hole location on the driver's side and the 2nd hole on the passenger side do not line up as noted in the directions. It was also necessary to ream two holes on passenger side which were smaller than the rest. Once installed (using different mounting holes) the passenger side was fine but the driver's side is not very strong and flexes when stepped on. Manufacturing quality is good, but the design does not match 2020 model.

After purchasing my Promaster new, I was struggling getting in n out of the side door slider when I was carrying Heavy tools for work. I knew I needed running boards to divide the set up height. I decided the most economical option was Amazon and self install. I finally picked these black 6” ones and they work awesome and look great. I am happy I didn’t get the smaller 5” ones because the more room for your foot the better. They do not stick out too far or past the side view mirrors, but you do need to be careful when parking curbside when the curb is high because they stick out past the tires.Install- set aside an afternoon. Also blanket or something to lay on when bolting it to the frame. Where you drill holes in the frame it would be good to paint the bare metal. I thought of this later and tried to paint it after the boards were installed would have been easier before. I either lost a bolt or it wasn’t in the box but grabbed one from home depot for 50cents.They also flex a tiny bit when getting in/out I weigh 205

I love the look of these running boards because they match perfectly the built-in step at the back of the van. They are a bit narrow and I have to step sideways onto the running board and hold onto the door to get out of the van which is a bit of an issue. As a senior, I'm afraid of falling if I don't put my foot in exactly the right position. I don't know how difficult the installation was because I hired it done.

I have put these steprails through the paces with daily use of carrying tools in and out of the van and they still look like I installed them yesterday. I installed them several months ago and it took about an hour. I highly recommend.

They are good for getting into the van but not as helpful for getting out, as they dont stick out far for enough of your foot to land. However if they stuck out further they would be in the way so this width is fine. They do flex with weight.
