Great for Pizza Dough
I made Pizza dough a few time with the THRITOP mixer using the dough hook and so far it has worked great. The dough comes out a bit stickier than I would have expected, but it is extremely soft and well kneaded. Most of the time it forms a ball that goes around the edge and gets kneaded twice by the dough hook every revolution, in a similar fashion as shown in the video with the pink die. Once it bunch up close to the stem (I think this happens for bigger loads), but it still came out well kneaded. For reference, the Pizza dough I make is for 4 personal size pizzas: 500g of flour, 300g of water, 20g of olive oil, 10g of salt, and yeast. I tried scaling back the recipe to 200g of flour, and it worked fine. I tried making meringue with two egg whites, and it came out great as well. It was barely touching the egg until a bit of sugar was added. At a speed setting of 6 it gets fairly loud, but the whisks go around really fast. The motor seems to handle the work very well and the machine hardly gets hot. After making the pizza dough, the hottest part of the base was just above 100F. It came in a white unlabeled box (not as shown in the video) and the spatula is made of plastic and it is pretty useless. Other than that, it is as shown in the video and feels sturdy and of decent quality ... really good value for the price, as long as it lasts. Suction cups keep the machine in place and give it a nice feel.

If you need a new mixer, THIS IS THE ONE!
First I let me say that I have used Kitchen Aid Professional Grade mixers for the last 30 years, so when we moved and my mixed did not 'somehow' make the truck, well, you can guess that I was rather upset. I cook alot - with a lot of baking. I just could not myself to spend another 700$ for a new mixer just before XXmas and after an expensive move. So I was looking for a different answer - I saw this and why not try it - if I hated it, I could return it, right? BUT this is marvelous - heavy cookie dough, med weight batters for pound cakes - and the best whipped cream I have ever made. This mixer is weird looking but the double beating heads are great - egg whites whip up beautifully for meringues. creaming sugar and butter is a snap and heavy cream goes to the best whipped cream in just a minute or two (depending on the quality of the cream - make your own butter - not that much time). I will not be replacing this 600 Watt mixer with the old fashioned Kitchen Aid lift mixer EVER!! This easy to clean - pull everything apart and put on top rack in the dishwasher - wipe the base off with a cloth - how wet depends on you. I have made bread, sour ream pound cake, whipped cream, candy, butter cookies and more cookies. The only down side is the shipping time - took about 9-10 days - that needs to be much, much shorter. But Amazon has spoiled us with the 1*2 day prime delivery. And the lack of information regarding the shipping was disappointing - but now that you know - do not hesitate - BUY This mixer - you will not be disappointed after it arrives. Oh yes, the design is interesting and so easy to add ingredients while using; it fits under the counter cabinets or on a shelf for storage - it is very cool. Love it!

Bad design and plastic gearbox
Well, it broke , and making a stripping noise, probably the gear box , i opened the mixer and checked. The belt from the motor to the gearbox was intact but the gearbox is failing with a little resistance during operation. It looks like bad design and use of plastic gears to drive the unit. Not repairable without the parts. I am throwing it away..

Machine stops when kneading bread dough
I bought this mixer for it's unique design, its smaller size, and its ability to mix bread dough. I loved the machine when all I was mixing were cookies and cakes. But from the first time I tried to make bread using only 15.13 ounces of flour, it would not complete the kneading. It will run for about 5 minutes but stops and does not start again unless I wait a long while. It does not feel or smell hot, but it just stops. I've tried turning it off several times to scrape the dough off the center post during kneading to keep it going, but that doesn't help. The advertising video for bread shows the machine kneading the dough beautifully and impressively. There may be an error in the video when it shows printed on the screen “Maximum 7.5 pounds dough.” Maybe my 15.13 ounces (not quite a pound) of flour are actually more than it can handle, but I don’t think so since that’s only enough dough for 12 large cinnamon rolls. The dough, as far as it will knead, is much better than the dough I knead by hand, but the dying of the motor in the midst of the process is disappointing. Sadly, I didn't try to make bread with it until product support was unavailable. Maybe someone will have a suggestion to help. Maybe my machine is a lemon. I guess I'll never know unless THRITOP would like me to test another one. If that would happen, I would happily update this review. For now, the mixer I have is only good for mixing cookies, cakes and other light ingredients.

Great Quality
I have used this twice now to make bread (plain old bread and bagels). So I have only used the dough hook but the unit is very strong and all of the attachments appear to be high quality. Love the splash guard and the fact that you don't have the huge (Kitchen Aide) arm blocking your view. I will say (unless I missed something) there were no instructions. It was relatively easy to understand given my ability to pick out the dough hooks from the other attachments, but there are a couple of things in there I will have to look up on the internet. Again...I may have just missed the instructions brochure. I actually bought this because the one I really wanted (advertised on SugarGeek) was not available and I decided not to invest a ton of money until I was convinced my interest wasn't a passing fancy. I'm glad I went with the less expensive model for now and think it really may be better in the long run. My only negative observation is - when I put the mixing bowl in the dishwasher the bolt like pat on the bottom (looks important) became discolored and unattractive. May be a warning of trouble to come.

Good but. depends on what you will use for
if you're going to use it to whip something or. make cookies or cakes it is good but if you're buying it for bread or pizza dough you have to be very careful. On bread and pizza as long as the dough is moving around the bowl as a complete mass. it is good but what happens. before fully developed it starts. to wrap around the center post. When that happens it rapidly tears up the dough. and destroys the developed gluten. I am using it for bread and pizza but I stop as soon as the wrapping starts. I usually work it on the bench for 30 seconds to a minute then let it bulk proof and it's OK. The real negative of the unit it is quite noisy The classic dough hook style mixers like the KitchenAid. Take longer but they don't usually tear up the dough like this style mixer can. As long as you understand this product it works fine but if you're new to breadmaking or pizza you can easily destroy dough and not understand why

I have had mine for 3 years and it's still running like a champ
Mine is in as loud as what some people complain there is to be a mine sticks to the counter really well for the 3 years I've had it I'm mixing bread in it right now as you'll see in the terrible picture that I posted and it makes excellent bread and it hasn't slowed down yet I'm thrilled with this product after having mixmasters for 40 years beforehand

It’s made in China. Parts are not easy to get
I wanted to love this mixer. First week I started having trouble keeping the dough scraper on the spindle. It eventually slipped off and one of the rubber scrapers tore. That was in the beginning of June. Still waiting for part. I used it for bread and it seemed to be fine. I still am using my kitchen aide as I can’t keep the bowl scraper in place.
