nice book for maths ,more practise ,easy to understand

Like to have it for my kids to participate at home.

Great book to have with equations to accomplish before allowing your child to play.

I purchased this book thinking that it would provide practice for skills that 3rd graders are currently learning. Instead it is more like additional practice for 2nd graders as they progress through the program. I feel that the book is misleading because the ad states that this is for 3rd graders when it is really for 2nd graders or low math students in 3rd grade.

I can’t stand what’s being taught in 1st grade math class at my son’s school - 2+3?! That’s Kindergarten (if not preK) math in any Asian country. Therefore I purchased this book for my first grader. Although it’s not as intense as the real math curriculum in Singapore, it is one of the best I can find on Amazon. Now he is almost done with the book. This book needs parents to work with the kid to introduce basic concepts, but the sample questions at the beginning of each unit are very good examples. Questions in each unit are not very repetitive - they are presented in a variety of forms under the same basic concepts, which is great. I also purchased Kumon books to reinforce some of the math concepts presented in this book. The challenging questions are super fun to solve with my kid - definitely require a brain workout for a 6-year-old. I’ll start the level 3 book soon. Hope it’s as good.

I bought this book to supplement for a 7yr old in public school (she is gifted and need a bit more challenge). Once the schools shut down because of the Covid virus, we were doing homeschooling and the workbook was a great tool for an additional method for math.The 7 yr old thought the pictures were a lot better than how she was doing math at school and has made great progress in understanding the concepts taught with this book. We will be using the next one as well.

Self explanatory workbook that helps kids completely understand math. Takes you step by step in each lesson and gives great examples.

I ordered both the Level 2 and 3 at the same time and received a fake copy of Level 2. The original has an embossed cover with a metallic shine (see photo, look carefully for the rainbow shine on the red level 3 book). The Level 2 book doesn't have the embossed detail and no shine. The inside is supposed to be two-toned as depicted on the cover. For level 2, it's a purple tone. See picture of the level 3 book which is red two-toned compared to the black-and-white version I got of the Level 2 book. The text inside the fake copy is slightly fuzzy but still clear enough to read. The dotted perforations are not as well delineated as the genuine Level 3 book. My daughter has used the Level 1 book before so I know what it is supposed to look like. I ordered a replacement to see if it was a one-off but I received another fake copy. I may try again in another week. If you don't mind the slightly fuzzy text, it's good enough to use.The content itself is good but it is a little dry (it's math after all). I am pretty good at math and this book teaches the way I instinctively do math in my head. I think public schools here should teach math this way as well.
