Sharpest nippers I’ve ever used!

Let me begin by saying that I am not a huge proponent of trimming your cuticles. I think that with regular moisturizing and pushing them back, it is not really necessary. That being said, there are some times when life gets in the way of having properly maintained nails and cuticles, and when they over grow, they do look and feel better being trimmed back. I have trimmed mine before, and I'm always left with ragged edges. More often than not, I am left with a small wound or some redness and sensitivity. I really don't want to experience that ever again, because the last time I trimmed them, I got such an injury and ended up with a terrible infection and a badly swollen, painful finger. So I looked for a better solution. And I found these cuticle nippers. They are SHARP. And they are VERY precise. They very neatly and smoothly snip away all of the overgrown cuticle. They are easy to use and comfortable to hold. I was able to trim all of excess cuticle away within a couple minutes. Sometimes when cuticles are trimmed, they will have a sort of bloated and irritated look, and I think that looks horrible. Right now, my cuticles have just the right amount of skin to look very healthy and well-maintained. They do not have that odd, unnatural look that some trimmers give you. There is absolutely no frayed skin. My cuticles have never looked this good. I'm glad I purchased these. They are a game changer.

I am at a dilemma: this is the first product I have ever come into contact with that is quite possibly too good at it's job. You may be wondering, is that even possible? I think it is. On the other hand, these clippers do not let anything out of their grasp. When I'm trying to get that pesky little cuticle deep in the corner of my nail, I inevitably cut a little too much off. Since these are so sharp, so good at their job, there is no room for error. That is my only complaint. Other than that, they are great.

These are super sharp and do a great job for precision work. Because they are sharp it is really easy to draw blood. They do dull fairly quickly, but for the price, it is well worth it. And they are still sharp compared to other cuticle nippers even when they start to dull. I have bought several pairs since they were on sale.

They're very easy to use, come packaged with a nice plastic head cover that I reuse to protect the blades, and the blades are very sharp. The blades align very well so they cut all along the length. Be careful, these can poke when open. But when closed, the blades are nicely curved. I imagine these are going to last me a while, but if I do need to order a new pair I would not hesitate to buy again.
