The good news is that this laser is very powerful and bright. I would give it 5 stars if the detail only said it was a single beam that can be adjusted for thickness. The problem is that this listing claims it can melt things and light a match, which it can't since the beam generates no heat. A bright light by itself can't melt anything or create fire. There has to be some type of heat concentration in order for it to melt something or create a flame. Secondly, one of the pictures shows multiple beams being projected to form spots, but it doesn't do that. Twisting the cap does not create any different light patterns, it only makes the beam wider or thinner.Overall, for a laser pointer, it's very powerful, has great distance and is very bright. 5 stars for that purpose, but the listing says things it can't do, so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars.

This is strong, well made, and very very long range.However for my uses it was just too bright (indoors, 10-15 feet). Overpowering bright.. Really nice outside, but virtually blinding inside.But if you are in the market for a strong, long range and very bright laser, this is surely a good bet!

This works very well. It comes with a key on the back to disable it, so even the button doesn't work. This is nice if you have kids around, and want to make sure they do not hurt themselves.This shines all the way down my street, and still has a pretty nice dot.When you get this, the battery is installed backwards. It says this in the instructions, but I didn't read them of course, so I was a bit confused. Just pop it out flip it around and it worked like a champ

This is very powerful. It's a no nonsense purchase in a plastic bag. No filters or add-on parts. Just had to take out the battery and turn it around. For some reason, it was installed backwards. The battery tip should be towards the back of the laser. Otherwise, this is VERY powerful. Miles of range at night and you can see the laser the whole way as a straight line!! amazing.

High powered laser indeed, comes with two keys to unlock battery compartment and store it when not in use good safety feature if used properly.

Just showed up. And I have to admit it is a lot more powerful than I expected.It also took me a minute to get them to work because when the pointers arrived the batteries were in backwards
