They're very light & airy and very soft against the skin...perfect for summertime wear. Due to a minor skin condition which makes me a little self conscious, I don't really like wearing shorts out in public. Jeans are just plain too heavy & hot. Capris & Ankle pants are just awkward looking & not very flattering on most average women who (let's face it!) aren't tall, slim, model types! These harem pants are the perfect solution imho. I've read some reviews that said the material is too thin & see through but I haven't had that problem. Of course, I guess if you bought the white/light colored style then you'd definitely have a problem with dark or boldly patterned undies showing thru because, after all, the material is soft but thin. I usually buy the darker colors & busier patterns so I've never really had that problem. The only other "see thru" factor imo would be the material is lightweight enough that bright light (like in a doorway) might allow the silhouette of your legs to be seen but so what...you're still not as exposed as when wearing shorts or a bathing suit. If you're that shy or easily embarrassed then you need to wear more layers & alot heavier clothes... & swelter & sweat all summer. No Thanks!! I also read a couple reviews that complained about the fit being weird... the crotch not coming up high enough or having to pull the pants up to the ribcage or armpits to get the pants crotch up to the "normal" position! Folks, trust me, these aren't meant to be normal fitting pants. They're supposed to be loose & flowy, "I Dream of Jeannie" (look it up you kids!) harem style pants...NOT fitted, body-con, "look at my cute bubble butt" pants!! The top of the waist band should sit at/near or slightly below your belly button which then makes the crotch lower & the legs kind of full & billowy down to the elastic ankle bands. Perfect for healthy air circulation in the summer heat & humidity. The pants shouldn't touch the ground & if they do, either move the elastic band up your calf (I didn't like that feeling) OR try another brand that has a shorter INSEAM (not the same as the total outside length) in this style. There are plenty brands with inseams in the 27"-30" range if you look around. I prefer a minimum 31"-32" inseam & I like this particular brand because their inseam is on the longer side. I have found most of these pants will bleed atleast a little the first couple times you wash them and they do get softer & softer with every wash. I don't wash by hand like so many folks say to do. I usually toss them in the washer with dark colored tees, undies, etc & wash in cold water on the gentle cycle (if I remember). Hubs has even washed them with jeans accidentally without any real problems. I sometimes hang to dry but if in a hurry I've also tossed them in the dryer with other lightweight materials. I've only had one pair slightly split a seam but that was really my fault (bad positioning). You'll have to decide for yourself about that chore. Like I said before, I think these harem pants are The Perfect Summertime Pant! I wear them just about everywhere all summer long & with leggings underneath them I can extend that wearing season into mid-Spring & mid-Fall! I highly recommend these pants for a truly comfortable style! Review: Fantastic! I just know I'm gonna buy more of these beautiful & comfy harem pants! - No doubt I'm gonna end up buying more of these before the summer is over! I love the three pair I've bought so far, the colors are gorgeous, the rayon fabric is super soft, lightweight & comfy, & the prints are fantastic! I have this black peacock pattern, a teal peacock pattern & a purple peacock pattern. All are equally beautiful & comfortable, dress them up or wear them casually! For fit reference, I'm a standard U.S. 5'6", 150 lbs female, & I bought the size L, just in case they really shrank from washing, plus, I've been bed ridden lately, so I needed them to be slightly baggy & roomy, for comfort, not clingy. They fit me great, just how I wanted, not tight, but not overly saggy & baggy either. They fit just how they look on the models in the listing photos. I probably could have gone with one size down & I might, if a color or style I want isn't available in a L. The waist is very gently stretchy & forgiving, with slight tummy & hip control too, bonus! The ankles are also gently elasticized. After I first received them, I gave them a quick seam check for any loose seams or flaws (they looked slightly large at this point), then I hand washed them, each separately, in cool water, with Woolite, thoroughly rinsed them in cool water & hung them up to air dry. The colors do run the first time they're washed & the fabric does shrink, but this fabric is expected to do that, so do be prepared & don't be surprised. After this first wash I launder them, inside mesh lingerie bags, in the washing machine, using cold water, on the gentle cycle, then hang them to air dry & they come out just fine. The rayon fabric is thin, but the darker or jewel tones I've bought aren't really see-through when worn, so flesh toned under garments are just fine. The fabric is wonderfully cool on hot days & dries fairly quickly after laundering too : ) So far, I haven't had any issues with any seams coming out or tearing or anything else. I was wearing one pair on a day that ended up being unexpectantly physically stressful & the pants held up just fine.

Wish it had two pockets in the seam
SOOOOO comfy. They are very lightweight and flowy, which I love. The elastic at the ankles is not tight but enough to keep the legs from falling over my feet. I love the huge pocket, although I wish it had one on each side (it's only on the right) and I wish it was an in seam pocket instead of sewn halfway down the leg. It's good size though. The very wide elastic waistband provides good support while not feeling restrictive. Fit is right on. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the pocket placement.

Like nice, feel nice but wrinkly material.
This pants fit nicely and the colors are great. I got the red one and the black one. They are super comfortable. It is too bad the material wrinkles very badly and i don’t like to iron. I will probably get more like these but i will look for material that does not wrinkle so badly.

LOVE THESE! Dress up or Down!
I LOVE THESE!!!!! These are the absolute, most comfortable pants ever! So nice for the hot weather. Pair it with a solid color tee or dress them up with a nicer shirt and you have yourself a decent outfit to so anywhere in! Love that you can dress them up/down depending on the top and shoes you choose! I have a lot of these...different colors.styles. You can never go wrong with these and the price is always right! Washes ez. Light, cool iron does the trick IF you don't pull it out of the dryer quickly, otherwise, don't even dry it, just put on hanger straight from the washer and you are fine! Deep pocket hold cell phone easily

My pair seems to be of good quality. I can move around or bend in ...
Okay! I have a lot to say about these pants! First of all they arrived on time, packaged well in a small bag. I was expecting a less vivid color due to some reviews I have seen but these were exactly as the picture indicated. I bought the teal peacock in XL and was expecting 'them to be a little roomy and they are but they fit well at the same time. They are not see-through but I would match the color under them just in case. I bought these to wear to India for the summer and they are very thin, light-weight, and silky soft. I am buying me a lot more of these just to lounge around in. My pair seems to be of good quality. I can move around or bend in them comfortably. I am a size 14, 165 lb.'s, and 5'4''. The pants are a great length and hang on me as they do in the picture. I think taller women will have plenty of length left, and heavier women have plenty of thigh, hip, and waist room to work with also. I wish it had 2 pockets but it only has one, on the right hand side. The pocket is deep. These pants would look good with a white, black, mustard, marigold, or teal blue/green shirt. They also came with a discount coupon on future orders. I will be using that coupon. I love these pants , they are very beautiful and comfortable and roomy. :)

Super comfy, lightweight harem pants
LOVE these super comfy harem pants! I'm planning a trip to southeast Asia and it is always hot and uncomfortable there. These pants are extra lightweight for travel, wash nicely, and just enough gathering at the ankle to make them fit my short (5'1") stature. I ordered the XL, as I like my pants loose and comfy, and these certainly are that. If you wear a size 14, you might prefer a L instead, though. Colors are all rich and vibrant. A deep olive green with punches of yellow, white, and hot pink. I can already envision them with a variety of tops, both tank tops and more flowing ones too. Going to buy more right now! POST TRIP UPDATE: I ended up purchasing three pair of these pants, two print and one in the dark blue. Sadly, only the blue ones came home with me, as the other two ripped -- not just down the seam but across the backside -- after only 2 or 3 wearings. I was wearing the red print ones while ballooning over a thousand temples in Burma, squat down in the basket to change camera lenses, and heard a strange sound. I quickly checked the crotch but it seemed okay. A few minutes later, I heard another sound and reached behind me to find that the pants had ripped horizontally near my right cheek. After the balloon landed, I had to climb over the edge of the basket and then into a boat for the ride back to our lodging. By the time I got there, I had a 6" tear and a well-ventilated derriere! Perhaps the print ones are slightly thinner and thus less durable. Made me sad because these are super comfy and easy to wear. I would like to replace the torn ones but am not sure I can risk another bit of southern exposure! So my 5 stars had to go down to a 3. Take your chances!
