Lavazza Qualità Rossa Ground Coffee, Medium Roast, 250 g Each, 20-Pack

Great value and superb coffee.

This is my go-to brand for daily coffee necessities when I need a quick brew at home. I'm not too fussy about how to brew, etc. but it needs to be tasty and fresh. Here's what I think about Lavazza Qualità Rossa -which I recently bought 2 packs of 500g from Amazon: Taste-wise it offers a rich and full-bodied flavour with a balanced combination of Arabica and Robusta beans. The medium roast brings out the natural sweetness and subtle notes of the coffee. The aroma is enticing and inviting. It fills the room (even upper floors) with a pleasant and fragrant coffee scent that is sure to awaken your senses. You can enjoy this in various brewing methods, including espresso machines, French press, and drip coffee makers. I use a traditional stove-top mocha pot and it delivers a consistently delicious cup of coffee. The 500 g pack is very convenient and ensures that you have a sufficient supply of coffee. The packaging might use some design changes to preserve freshness and flavour. So I transfer the coffee to an airtight container after opening a pack. Probably the most praisable point would be the excellent value for money. You might find that the same stuff sold in high-street shops and supermarkets is a bit overpriced compared to Amazon. All in all, Lavazza is known for its commitment to quality, and this is no exception. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using Lavazza Qualità Rossa ground espresso coffee for a few weeks, and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. This Lavazza coffee is wonderful. I think it is the best on the market. I am absolutely delighted that this seller offers eight packets in a bundle at a time. It is brilliant custer service. The volume of the bundle gives me comfort that I have enough coffee for a while and is a very comforting thought My profuse thanks and warm wishes to this seller. I shall be a regular customer and buy my coffee only from this seller providing it is in the same format, ie a number of packets at one time. I am editing this review to add the following: Somce I bought this in July 2014 (less than 6 months ago) the price for 6 packs has doubled!!! This is an outrageous price increase, and, as many others have commented, you can find this coffee for cheaper at Tesco, Sainsbury's etc... especially if you stock up when it is on sale! This is one of the reasons why I will NEVER use the facility offered by Amazon to renew purchases on a regular basis, until vendors can be 'trusted' to behave half decently, you might end up with some idiot thinking you are stupid! It has also led me to wonder whether leaving positive feedback is not in some way responsible for vendors thinking they can up their prices. I am not sure I will continue to review for Amazon for this reason.... Super fast delivery for this item! I was very impressed. A few years ago I preferred pure arabica coffees, but since discovering this Qualità Rossa I have not looked back; this is a mix of arabica and robusta grains, the blend is well gaged, the coffee is not bitter, just slightly stronger than pure arabica, and I do not suffer the spike in anxiety / heart rate like when I drink pure robusta. The grind is perfect for use in an expresso machine and the crema you get is nice and thick, as it should; lovely! I haven't yet opened any of these packs, but I am hoping it is the genuine article. I will update this review when I have tasted it to confirm. Taste update: this is Qualità Rossa, no doubt about this, excellent! This product can be found in all the major supermarkets in London, however, the prices vary and often the 'promotions' or other 'price cuts' advertised online (or through those silly comparison sites) are only meant to lull you in the shop, and you next discover the empty shelf, having to buy the single pack for £3.99! Frustrating! It was great to find this at this price on Amazon, with a free delivery, it means I have made a real saving. I read someone's review somewhere here who was complaining about the price changes for this particular item, I may be wrong here, but a while back there was, a price war for coffee on the international markets, so I imagine this could have had an influence on the retail price - although I would not be surprised also if sellers try to maximise profits when a product sells, but coffee, is just like crude oil, there is a lot of stuff going on on internation markets that affects prices. There is in fact even a Wikipedia article that summarises some of the issues attached to the economics of coffee trade, an interesting read. Definitely recommend this product

The best all round bean coffee there is. Smooth taste without any bitterness. It the only coffee I will buy.

While coffee is hit and miss buying on amazon this brand is the best for sending the longest best before date, and the quality of the coffee is far far better than many higher priced coffee I've tried on amazon, I drink 2kg of coffee a month. And have tried only a few.. I dont know if this is a good rule to have but an amazon choice coffee has always had much longer date than any other brand I've tried...
