Good purchase, awesome sticks.
For about 4 years I have been using very heavy sticks and changing to these took some getting used to but I think it may be the best decision I have made so far. Dynamically they are actually pretty good in the way that it sounds good for heavy rock but they also work for latin and jazz. If you play only latin and/or jazz I may recommend to get lighter and smaller sticks, but these are actually very good overall sticks. Just watch out for the black paint of the sticks as it gives your drum skins a slick dalmatian look even with light usage. There is a white edition for these sticks though. Slightly more expensive but they are the same and you kay prefer them.

As a Travis Barker fan, these are a must have. Good balance and quite heavy, thus good for rock. Weight and size is close to a 5B.Quite durable, although I have broken bits off the tips under heavy playing, but haven't actually split yet. Beware, just like the white ones, these will mark your cymbals (but can be polished out).

Broke on very first gig!
Been playing drums since ‘83 and I am not one who plays so hard that I constantly break sticks, heads, cymbals, etc. Super disappointed that these literally broke the first gig played with these. Just got them a month ago!?
