Works great!
If you are wondering if Thermocell actually works well….they really do. It’s great! We go camping in the outer banks in North Carolina every summer and have other camping trips and this comes with us everywhere we go. And, we also have one on our patio. Definitely worth the cost (which is that much).

Seems to work, but poor instructions
It does seemingly work. 12 to 24 inches from me stuck in my gravity chair drink holder. That’s the main point. This actually works! What is not great are the poor instructions and the lack of any base to put the poles into. And yes, the refills cost more than the product. 120 hours for over $40. I seriously doubt you actually get 120 hours. And it won’t work if there is any wind because it is smoke based. All in all though, I spent $90 on an electric that failed completely to stop a single mosquito! This one is magic compared to the three electric I previously bought.

No bites & lots of light
Mosquitoes love me and I usually leave a camping trip with at least 100 bites. ZERO BITESS!!! Our site felt a little extra fancy with cute lanterns set up and the kids could easy find find our site in the dark. While the components to refill are expensive, having no bites is totally worth every penny. And the 2 lights broke down into 1 small storage tote for easy packing.

Eh
I liked these because they’re not as easy for kids to mess with like the other products but…..I don’t find them to be easy to use, the cap is so frustratingThey’re top heavy and fall over easilyI really don’t know for sure if they’re working ?There is no auto off or anything so if you accidentally leave one on, it’s empty by morning

Another thermacell " killer " product
Use 2 of these around our above ground not enclosed pool in florida.turn them on 10 minutes before we go in and they keep the bugs away

Not effective. The mosquitos have feasted on me and my people.
Bought this since it seemed to have decent reviews, but now that I have it and have used it I’m not sure why.The quality itself is very poor, super cheap plastic that’s fiddly. Very hard to take apart and put back together in order to insert the batteries etc.I used per the limited instructions provided, and am completely covered in mosquito bites so i think it’s safe to say it doesnt work.I’ve tried other products, like a mosquito incense, which worked much better (almost zero mosquito bites). I wanted to try something else out which is why i bought this, but it really doesnt work at all. Plus you have to continually buy refills and stuff for it. 100% not worth the money or trouble setting up and using it.

Best for south GA
Living in south GA just isn’t it when wanting to be outside. The mosquitoes will quite literally carry you off and as someone with cluster migraines I don’t do smells very well. So luckily these admit no smell. You have to wait about 15 minutes for them to warm up but once they are warm up it’s game over!
