The only dinosaur in the picture from this book is the yellow one in the center. The other two were beginner patterns I found online.I often get crochet books and don’t end up using them because the patterns are overly complicated or the way they are written is confusing. This book is full of great creative patterns that are actually doable (I completed one already) and easy to follow. Even the more complicated patterns are written in a way that makes them more accessible to your everyday crochet enthusiast (i.e., does as a hobby and not an expert).

This book is so unique with lots of cute patterns. They are easy to read and follow.

My biggest problem is I was hoping to make these and sell them. They don't let you. So, if that's why you want to purchase this book, don't bother. My only other problem is that you make each body piece separately and stitch them together. I don't like stitching, I hate it. I would prefer to make the body in one piece. I adapted the directions so I do as little stitching as possible. I love the dinosaurs and the people. I am making these for my Grandson's room. He'll love them.

I have made 4 of the patterns so far, the pterodactyl, T-Rex, sabor tooth tiger, and caveman. I'm an advanced crocheter and found the patterns very simple to follow. I used different hooks and yarn then what was recommended so they turned out larger. The patterns are simple enough for beginners mostly, but some parts are over complicated for simple shapes. I would recommend for more experienced crocheters.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of this book... from the built in bookmark covers to the qr codes throughout the book that take you to explanatory videos... not to mention the adorable patterns themselves. Outstanding! Just got it today and I can't wait to start making creatures for my 2-1/2 year old granddaughter who is crazy about dinosaurs.

I am an avid crocheter and love this book! I have only made one character so far, but plan on making all 14 in the next few months. The instructions are very well written and there are many photographs with each character's instructions.

I found the patterns pretty easy to follow, though like most patterns there was a bit of trial and error. This is a gorgeous book and every creature in it is well worth making.
