it cuts wood
This is a good saw for my purpose. I needed a saw to cut down standard sized fire wood for my Solo Ranger stove. I also purchased a 'laplander' folding saw before buying this bow saw. The laplander is nice (and I'll keep it); however, the bow saw is far more practical and efficient for my needs. This BAHCO bow saw rips through wood. I've so far used it to halve several bundles of locally bought firewood, and a couple bundles of wood sourced from the in-laws.

Ergonomics meet Quality
Have both the 24" and 21" and great saw and blades. Got spares for both green and deadwood. A 5" in diameter, albeit Spanish Broom, was done in half the time my old one would have taken and no fatigue. Clean and uniform cut. Love the handle and maneuverability. A plus is the tensioning knob for the blade. Great and comfortable handle.

Solid Performance
The pointed end makes pruning much easier and the handle is plenty comfortable even with gloves. Tensioning knob is a smidge small but is a very welcome addition vs the standard version. A solid saw all around for the size with green wood and dry wood blades.

This bow saw is awesome
I cut tree limbs in the 6-7” range with this saw. Perfectly balanced and one-handed cuts are practically effortless.

OOTB Review- well-made, light, and sharp - I worry about durability
I'll update this OOTB review once I've had a chance to actually use the saw. Title of review says it all. The plastic fitting to tighten the blade is worrisome.

Possibly better than a chainsaw
I take this up with me to do tree work. Easily gets through most limbs before I gotta haul up the chainsaw. Yea, it's bigger than a pistol grip saw, but I like the hand protector and it cuts aggressively. Doesn't take many pulls to get through a 4" branch. Also, it hangs easily on nubs and you can catch branches with it after cutting through and ease em down.

Good construction. Easy to use. Easy to replace blades. 9/10

Great Saw
Cut through 8 inch diameter wood with ease. Super sharp and cuts very fast. Compared to using my bahco folding saw this gets the job done in half the time.
