Still beats my more expensive earphones
Every time I buy a new pair of earphones, I just end up coming back to these coz they're so balanced. The bass isn't cranked up too high (which I can't say for other pairs), the trebles are decent (at least for someone like me who like to add some extra treble to everything), the mids aren't downed out by the low and high frequencies and it very responsive when EQin' to my taste. They fit really well in my ears, don't cause any pain and give a snug fit that blocks out a decent amount of outside noise - I can sleep with them on with them on without issue. My only issue is that each of the 4 or so pair I've had have broken after a year or so of use, and all due to the wire getting damaged internally. The wire is stronger than regular earphone wires, but not as thick and protected as I'd prefer it to be for an relatively pricey pair. I'm not rough my earphones, I don't drag my phone with it, I don't knot the wires and I don't shove them in my pocket with to mingle with loose change and keys. I just occasionally tug them a bit when they get caught on something, but never enough to do damage. I've tried to make the transition to Bluetooth earphones, but none sound as good as these, even with some EQin'. Even the BT11Cs don't sound nearly as good (they're too basey), nor do Samsung's pro buds, sony's XM2 and XM3 earbuds (which lets you use LDAC for lossless audio - the sony WI-1000X was close to being as good) or Sennheiser's momentum 2.0 (which are too god dang bassy). So I guess I'll have to deal with the woes of having wired headphones but at least I can enjoy the experience with these.

Important to get the right sized earbuds.
Try all the earbuds! With some of them, there was no bass at all, but once you get the right buds, the sound is about right for the money. Volume doesn't go very high, but it goes high enough for normal listening. I pitted these against some Bowers and Wilkins Pi5 S2 which are obviously 7X the price, but sometimes you just want to have some wired headphones that don't need charging up! Vocals were almost identical. Hihats and cymbals were actually a little more distinct on the Soundmagic than the Bowers and Wilkins, which works well in some music, but might become a little harsh after a while. However, mid to low frequencies are a bit muffled - there is enough bass if you get the right earbud size, and in isolation sound acceptable for the price, but in comparison, the B&Ws filled the musical space far far better, with a much broader and controlled range of bass and lower mid sounds, which for the dance / drum n bass / techno stuff I most often listen to make them much more exciting. But moving on to rock like Led Zeppelin, the gap was much closer, albeit still obvious. However, taking into account the price, these E11 are good enough for me to keep and enjoy. The cable is decently long and there is not much cable movement noise if you pull the cable tidy up towards the chin a bit.

Great stuff
Bought to replace my previous pair which went at the 3.5mm jack connector, (in the way earphones usually do) after almost 3 years of day-to-day running and office use. Bought in black, arrived with a nice semi-rigid clamshell case, and various ear bud sizes. Cable is quite thin, may cause longevity issues on the connector. Sound quality is the best of any earphones I've used, would rate it similar to the Sony MX blah M3 headphones, without the noise cancellation they offer. Comfortable fit for my ears, nice long cable, and also, having tried some other earphones out in the meantime, quite loud when cranked right up! Will purchase again in a couple of years when I lose mine.

Ok, but no longevity
They're OK but I've moved away from this brand now as they don't last long wirh regular use, flimsy wiring

Sound good, Quality terrible
Bought these to replace my Soundmagic E10 which i had multiple pairs of, all of which lasted years. These things have broken in 4 months, there's some sort of problem with the cable, would not recommend.

Clear sound, but lacking bass, a little harsh sounding, and thin wire.
When I first opened the box I was disappointed in the quality of the product. The cable is extremely thin, like you would get on a free pair or earphones on a plane. The is no way that the cable is going to hold up. The default sound of the earphones was also very disappointing. WhatHiFi had raved about these, but I can not understand why. I have a pair of bluetooth Sony WF-1000XM3 which are amazing. Beats Solo 3 headphones, and some cheaper JVC Extreme HA-FX1X, among others. They all have their positives and negatives. The SoundMagic's sound is lacking bass, even when adjusting the EQ. There is just not enough there. Before adjusting the EQ, the sound was muddy and muffled in the mid range, and the upper end was harsh. My phone has an EQ but the EQ was missing on my PC, so had to download new Realtek software to enable this. Without an EQ the sound wouldnt have been bearable. After adjusting the EQ, the sound is better, very clear overall. The bass still is lacking and there is still a slightly muddy middle, but not as bad. But it just makes the sound a little frustrating. There is just something lacking in the sound. If you like clear audio and to hear all the detail, then these are definitely ok if you are ok messing with your EQ, as long as you are ok with the muddy sounding mid/high. If you want bass, go for the cheaper JVCs. If you want to splash out then the SONY WF-1000's are amazing.

Best earphones by far for the price range
Having read a lot of reviews and compared with my own knowledge of earphones I settled on buying these for my wife. She is very fussy when it comes to earphones having good sound and base without being expensive. I can honestly say that in the case of these earphones the reviews as well as so called expert reviews about these earphones are spot on. The sound quality, comfort and base for the price is unparalleled. So if you are looking for earphones and don't want to spend hundreds of pounds look no further than these. They are reliably good quality. This can be confirmed by the experts in headphones if you look in the right places.

They sound great. They don't seem super robust and I hope they go the distance

I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality these deliver! Be sure to use the right size tips to isolate outside noise and allow the proper acoustic delivery. I’ve used buds selling for 3-4X with much weaker results. I bought them largely in a WHAT HI-FI review and their 5 stars are bang on.
