I have used this several times now, when I expected to be exposed to lots of sick and contagious people, and I didn't get sick. I appreciated that, but as someone very familiar with science and research, lack of evidence doesn't mean evidence of lack. Then my husband got really sick, and stayed sick for a full month, then caught another cold and was sick for 2 more weeks. As soon as he began feeling sick I also noticed I had a bit of a sore throat. I decided to start taking this daily until both my husband and I were better, and forgot that I was taking this. (My PA filled my monthly med container with these, as well as all the rest of my daily meds.) I ended up taking two of these every day until I ran out over 2 months later. Exactly 2 days later I came down sick and went to look for these to see if they would help, and that's when I realized that I had been on them daily for the prior 2 months. Boy was I surprised to realize that this is why I didn't get sick, when everyone around me was coming down with horrible colds and flues! In fact, I know there were 7 nasty colds, and 6 nasty flues, because I know several people who got ALL of them! For over 6 months everyone around me seemed to have these horrible illnesses, and were spreading them to everyone I knew. These sicknesses were so bad that over a dozen of my friends were hospitalized from a few of these baddies. (Yes, I have a lot of friends.) However, I never got ANY of these colds or flues!, not a one! Or, not until I was off this product! Being super busy, and now ill, it took me several weeks to find both the time and energy to find this product again. (I purchased it about 2 years prior.) During this time I got over the minor cold I caught, and then caught another cold that was really knocking me out bad! As soon as I had the coherence to search for this product, despite being sick as could be, I started looking for it. As soon as I found it, I ordered more. As soon as it arrived I started taking 4 per day. In about 4 days I was feeling ok, except for a left over sinus infection. Shortly thereafter several more colds came through the area and everyone around me got sick, but I didn't. Yes this stuff is expensive, but not as expensive as taking a week of work was! Definitely not as expensive as my friends who were completely out of commission for over 2 months and ill for over 4, and especially not comparable to those who had to spend over a week in the hospital! From now on, this has become part of my regular winter meds!

37 M. 2 weeks ago, I was taking some strong antibiotics for my sinusitis to go to surgery. This antibiotic caused my right knee to swell, and then I could no longer walk on it. The blood flow was low to the leg causing cramping, stiffness. I stopped the antibiotics as it seemed to aggravate the knee condition and it swelled twice the normal size. My blood flow to my legs was not great before, after the antibiotics, it was very bad. I could only have my leg pointing right, otherwise it was always tight, tingly and at stuck at a 45 degree angle. What led me to this product was a Dr pointed me to a review of medical journal and report of people using it for medically confirmed virus infections at therapeutic levels. 4-6 caps 3 times daily. Google this; "Effect of Enzymes on Viruses: Results of Two Informal Study Trials" After two weeks and taking several higher doses daily. The swelling of the right leg is decreased, blood flow feels normal now with no tingling, I can sleep with my leg pillow again. Evidently this product is anti-inflammatory and promotes faster healing due to the enzymes inside. The real purposes for my taking this product is not my leg. I had a flu shot several years ago, pain has lingered in my colon on both sides since, and my sinusitis is going to require more surgery to correct if it continues to be a problem. I have noticed my sinus has cleared up a little bit taking virastop. Antibiotics have become somewhat ineffective for my sinus, I'm hoping this product will help resolve that issue so I won't need surgery. Some of the enzymes do target the lungs and sinus's. I'll update this review if asked.
