Apple Pencil Pro/2nd Case

I recently picked up two silicone cases for my Apple Pencil, and I'm really pleased with both. I wanted to purchase a cover for my Apple Pencil, every one I came across was quite expensive, so I decided to go ahead and try this as it is quite inexpensive. First thought when I opened it, it was a very nice colour ( I went for the purple one), the material is so soft to touch, but it gives you excellent grip though so don’t be fooled that it will slip down the pencil or that because it doesn’t. The only struggle I had with this cover though was that it was quite hard to fit on to my pencil. I had to constantly keep pushing for it to go on, to try and not rip it, so it can be quite tedious and I would recommend not to force it on as it will probably just rip if you did do that. But once it is on, it is so worth the money, it has really good grip on it and makes it better to draw and write compared to it just being the pencil where your hand could slip down the pencil etc. Overall a really good inexpensive product and I will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

I got the version with yellow body and red cap, making it look like an old school pencil. It’s very pretty! I have a case for the iPad that exposes the side for the pencil, so with the sleeve on it still grips onto the iPad. It is slightly weaker hold but there is no way to get around this because the magnetic field will attenuate at larger distances. The shake test still holds the pencil though so I find there’s no issues with it. There’s also no change to charging, or the double tap feature. If the manufacturers can still innovate on processes then figuring out ways to make the sleeve even thinner would be perfect. Although It is a very good product already, you should get it if you are a regular pencil user on the iPad.

It is very comfortable, soft, stylish and easy to use. In my experience, the pencil doesn’t charge when you leave it connected to the iPad.

Normally I'd use a vinyl skin wrap to protect my Apple pencil from scratches but I wanted something that would offer better protection in case I dropped it. I came across the AhaStyle Pencil Cover and decided to go for it because it had good reviews and high rating. So far I am not disappointed, the case serves its purpose well and my Apple pencil works with no issues. As you'd expect install the case is very easy and requires minimum effort. Once installed using the Apple pencil is very comfortable and great to handle, the case gives extra grip. With the case installed the Apple Pencil attaches to the iPad Pro just fine and charges with no issues. The double tap feature also works as normal. The case itself has a good fit and looks good on the Pencil, my only minor criticism would be I wish it had more detail in terms of design so it would look more like a real pencil but this is not a deal breaker. Over all this is a good case, it offers good protection from scuffs, scratches and if you dropped the pencil from a reasonable height. I can confidently recommend this item. Hope this helps.

I bought this Apple Pencil 2nd Gen case before I got my iPad Pro and pencil. I really like to protect my tech. Do not buy this cover. I use my iPad on average about 1h/day, sometimes for longer spells when I have more time to read or study. At first the cover fit beautifully. I noticed after a few weeks it began to slip down the pencil and it would need to be corrected. This got worse over time and now I had to tape the main body of the case to the “tip” to help stop the cylinder of silicone falling down. Extremely frustrating. Will not be purchasing from this company again. It should not be advertised as a 2nd Gen pencil product because if it were one piece of silicon it would not fall. A waste of materials and money.

Product looks really good and lasts long. Easy to put on and take off. Have been using it for years and still not worn down. Well priced too.

Purchased as original Pencil was too thin and slippery to hold. Value for price, nice colours and great grip. Initial installation and removal was a bit difficult, although with a bit of practice this took <5sec to install or remove. However, it does dampen the double-tap gesture, sometimes requiring a bit of luck, though I fixed this by cutting out a small tap region. Would recommend for ‘indoor’ users, but not if you take your device out - the magnetic clip is noticeably weaker, although wireless charging still works.

This is a very good product and exactly does what it claims. Apple seems to have a fetish for manufacturing white products and a pencil that is to be held in hand will eventually become dirty. This protective case will take care of that. The fit is perfect. To put it on, you will have to slowly push the case along the pencil making sure that the flat faces are aligned correctly. It is a tight push, but that is as it should be else it would not fit the pencil and stay in shape around the pencil for long. The grip is good. I think the grip does not change from the original much, neither positively nor negatively. Most importantly the Apple Pencil 2 charges and sticks to the charging place holder of the iPad without any issues whatsoever. The service from the seller was incredible. They first contacted me to ensure which pencil version I have to ensure compatibility. They were very professional too in their interaction. Overall good product and good service. VFM definitely.

Easy to put on, comfortable to write with, magnetic charging works, squeeze feature with Apple Pencil pro works but the double tap doesn't is the only downside.
