Another Danica and Paul Greene spectacular romance
I avoided this movie for a while as I found Danica to be the same in every movie and though I love Paul Greene, I did not want to see him with, yet another actress. It seems Hallmark takes the same female or male and makes a movie and puts them in it. Sometimes it loses it's touch that way. Atleast for me. However since I have the Hallmark Now channel and this movie was free on it, I decided to just check it out. I am really glad because the story is a really good one. It really has a lot of heart which Paul Greene always brings to his movies. I even teared up a few times. I remember what it was like to be a teen with divorced parents who wanted to connect in awkward ways. I also love that Danica brought her own skills and talents as a Mathematician to the movie. That will really help female teens to get the encouragement they need to excel in Mathematics but also to hopefully be encouraged to be themselves and for parents to never give up on finding ways to stay connected to their kids. At times I did not like Danica's character, however we all need people to look beyond the surface and be patient and merciful with us. The high maintenance mom may look different later. The spontaneous dad may really become more attractive later. In my humble opinion no one was a nerd here. I am not really a fan of that term but I have noticed after 53 years on this earth, the ones called nerd in school, later are really amazing people. A butterfly is always more attractive than a caterpillar. But from whose perspective? I really approve of this movie and encourage parents to watch it with their kids. Except the really creepy part at the very end where all of the students, after being told to stand apart from their dance partners, now have to watch Paul and Danica dance really close while they just stand around. I say laugh though. Good story! Enjoy! :)

I was disappointed with this movie and more than likely will not watch again
Compared to two Hallmark Movies: Crown for Christmas, my all time favorite; and Love and Sunshine is my second favorite staring Dians McKellar. Amazing chemistry and charisma with the leading characters in these two movies. Camphfire Kiss had no pep, no energy, lousy scenery and is one I will never look at again compared to the two movies I mentioned and watched repeatedly. I like Danica's movies but this one fell short! Hallmark should consider adding new leading men to their movies instead of using the same one over and over with different actresses instead of using leading actors mentioned in my two favorite movies who were outstanding!

Hallmark has another winner!
Two of my favorite Hallmark actors, Paul Greene and Danica Mc Kellar star as single parents who meet when they end up neighbors while taking their children on a camping trip. They are definitely attracted to one another until his ex-wife shows up to put a wrinkle in things. Highly entertaining!

A Hallmark Romance That Has Heart!
I have to say, I was surprised to find real characters, especially in the male and female leads, dealing with real issues in their lives. There aren't a lot of Hallmark movies with this quality. That doesn't mean I don't thoroughly enjoy most Hallmark movies. I just think it's worth noting that this one goes a little deeper than the rest of them.

Good family movie
Gave it 5 stars because both actors are on my list of favorites. Danica and Jack are always good together. I cannot imagine going camping in the snow as I live in Phoenix Arizona but story line was good..kids finally understood the parents idea to enjoy each other..I have very fond memories of my life when I was that age living on a farm in Texas and my parents taking time to do fun things with me. VERY FUN MOVIE!
Paul Greene and Dannica McKellar are two of my favorite Hallmark Actors! They have great chemistry in this movie and I love the fact that there is a couple of teenagers in the movie as well. The storyline is very fun and a departure from most Hallmark movies. It is a little predictable, but so much fun on the way. Heartwarming and sweet in the tradition of Hallmark movies!
