I ordered the Maleficient costume to wear at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party at Disney World in a few weeks and since the reviews indicated the horns were lacking in comparison to the costume itself I decided to order this. I haven't received the costume yet but these horns are AWESOME! The horns are stuffed so they stand up with no sagging. The material is velvet and the headpiece is very well made. There is a hidden adjustable velcro strap so you can customize the hat to fit your head. I saw other people complain that the headpiece is too small and child size but I have no problems with it fitting and actually need to adjust it to a smaller size. I have very short hair and a small head which may have made the difference. I imagine you would be able to wear this with something other than the Maleficient costume. The price was the lowest I was able to find and the shipping was free and fast. Great find!

I bought this head piece so that I could make a Maleficent costume for myself for Halloween. The whole look was, to be honest, on the scary side. That's good, because she's a scary figure. I've had some kid-friendly events to attend, however, and I found that I can wear the head piece with funky or bright-colored clothing [almost clown-like] and kids love it. It's not scary at all that way. I wanted to have a permanent well-made costume that I could wear every year. I now have two, thanks to this head piece that functions like an accessory. In terms of quality, the colors are deep in tone and quite beautiful. The materials are of good quality. As other reviewers mentioned, it's necessary to find a way to affix the head piece, depending on how thick your hair is and the size/shape of your head. I expected that, from reading the reviews; and it's hard to find any head piece that fits perfectly.

This headpiece made my costume. I wore it with the VSVO Open Face Zentai Hood Mask that I also found on Amazon and got so many compliments and people yelling “it’s maleficent!!” It was awesome. 10/10

My three year old is wearing this for her Halloween costume this year. We went to a small costume party in the park and people stopped to take pictures of her because this hat is a show stopper. There are no maleficent costumes for young kids but this hat is adjustable in the back and we tied the chin strap before securing the velcro so it works well for her. it does slip around a little but that was expected for her small head. I would recommend this hat. it's really well made and looks great.

I bought this for my 8 year old - the actually size of the horns are huge!! but the fit on my daughters head in fine - I was a little nervous but when she tried them on (it actually looks great) however any younger I would say to big......It does come with an adjustable band to make it more of a tighter fit and it has a strap for under the chin -It is very nice looking and I think it was priced appropriately ($20.00 us $$)You could honestly get away with just using this "hat" and a black long dress and everyone would know your Maleficent !!!

Exactly as described, well-made, comfortable, awesome accessory! I used a hair wig net to cover my head, sewed tassled cords to tie under chin to keep secure. I had to drive,work,walk,pose!!!!,and move around all day and needed confidence of not having to fiddle with it possibly moving. I'm a normal adult head and it fit great as it wasn't meant to go to base of skull I don't think. Collars, feathers, etc. takes care of that. Best costume acessory I've ever puchased. And service, delivery as promised.

So, the look of it is very true to the movie, which is why I initially purchased. Unfortunately, the tightness of the chin strap was not attractive for an adult, but would probably fit a child better. It also did not cover the ears, so that didn't look like it would in the movie. For those reasons I ended up returning it and buying something that looked more like the headpiece from the Maleficent movie (rather than Sleeping beauty). It was ALMOST perfect.

I saw this at Disneyland and regretted not buying it while I was there. Thank you Amazon for having everything in the world! This hat was amazing. The stuffing is nice and sturdy. Has a small elastic hidden in the backside to adjust for head size. Surprisingly comfortable -- soft and light. Be prepared to lean sideways in the car -- the horns are tall! These were so fun to wear. Very pleased.
