While this may not be the highest quality coin counter, it certainly does the job. Seems to be decently accurate (basically it just uses the coin size to determine the value). One of the best features is the ability to manually change the value, if needed. Overall I would recommend.

The product works and will count you coins, but sometimes it puts in the wrong amount if you go to fast, or to slow, or if you put coins in at all. But you get what you pay for so for its price it is good.

I purchased this item for the grand children, in order to insert a coin you must insert it to one side of the slot and roll it into the container. Very hard for a child to accurately insert a coin.TC from JC

I got this as a family fund jar to raise money for extras that the kids wanted, like a decoration for the fish tank They love adding money and watching the amount go up. The coin slot has a lot of resistance so you have to really push the coin in or else it registers a coin when you didn’t push it all the way in AND when you finally get it in. The amount is easy enough to adjust back. The clear jar lets the kids see the money accumulate. They’ve already dropped it a few times and it’s holding up so yay!

Gotta be careful taking the lid off the plastic is breakable. And it miss counts.

There is one flaw, that the counter is counting even though the coin is not falling in. Young kids have trouble to push it all in and pull it back half way, but the counter is counting. If adult is not watching, you end up with half of what the machine says it is. Besides that, this is a great money bank for kids, sturdy (plastic unfortunatley), and big enough to safe for some time.

This is great for my son. He finally can put ALLLL of his money in one bank. He had four piggy banks. He can now keep up with this one. He and I had a great time putting his money in his jar. Especially finding out how much he had at the end. The bank is nice and sturdy. Just the right type of bank children need. In case of drops and etc... It shouldn't break. Thanks and give it a try.
