It doesn't lighten to say 1st. You need a light base for it to be effective. It is a lovely shade of grey with high low tones, I used silver grey

Wasn't as dark as I had hoped, however I have found that it's perfect for toning out all the yellow in my blonde hair to achieve a lovely cool, almost white platinum blonde after a couple washes and therefore I still give it a solid 4, minus one star only because it doesn't stay grey. Leaves hair lovely and smooth and has the easiest application out of all the hair dying products I've ever used, as is what I found with their other colour products.

At last, a product that covers grey, and coloured ends properly and according to the box colour. After trying every product I could find, I have finally found the one that does what it says. Chuffed to bits. Highly recommend.

The consistency of was really thick. However it struggle to get through the applicator so much, that the nib burst off , underneath it has 3 holes so the product went over me, the sink and the wall. When washing out my eyes stung very badly. The colour now dry, is nice but much darker than on box.

My hair looks brown my grey has not covered at all,my hair was blonde to begin with,Aplicator bottle very stiff and nozzle is annoying as it keeps pushing down stopping the flow of tint to come out,I used 2 boxes on my hair as it is shoulder length,won't be buying again,waste of money,will have to colour my hair again to cover my grey

Excellent product

Gave this a try and it came out exactly as on the box but unfortunately the product did not hold too well due to my overly bleached porous hair.. not the products fault.. wish they would bring this colour in a semi permanent as it would stain the hair and last longer.

I do find it fades quickly, but then so do most of all the greys I have tried...so I bulk order so that I can top up the colour about once every 4-6 weeks. Although blonde/grey, I have to pre bleach my hair to get any colour to take, so start from a pale blonde base, and this comes out with a blue tinge on me, which I like, then fades to silver grey...

Ho provato Silver Steel su capelli biondo medio piuttosto spenti e già tinti varie volte. Ho applicato il prodotto senza lavare i capelli e lasciato agire per quasi un'ora massaggiando di tanto in tanto, l'intera confezione per un taglio medio corto. Il risultato è un bel grigio lucente. Promosso!

Colore introvabile in Italia, copre perfettamente di un bel grigio acciaio. Base decorazione x2 . Fin'ora la migliore che abbia trovato, per me leggermente chiara e un po' cara ma siccome in Italia non vendono questa tonalità vale la spesa. Prossima volta proverò un tono più scuro
