Wanted to be able to make how-to-fix-it videos on YouTube without having to hold my phone at the same time. Saw this and thought it would work good. Using it with a Moto G6 phone.The worst part is the plastic piece on your forehead really starts to hurt after a short while. I took some insulation foam strips like you'd use for sealing a window and put it on there and that seemed to help, but I'm wondering if a memory foam gel pad or something like that would work better.Otherwise it's working as I hoped, can use both hands and the view seems to be decent so far. Sometimes don't always see what I'm really looking at but for the most part it's fine. It took a while to figure out how to adjust this for the right angle so that the camera sees what I'm working on, looks to me to be around 45 deg just glancing at it.

I wanted to start a YouTube channel and needed a camera holder for my iPhone. I didn’t know exactly what I needed so I tried the first thing I saw for a reasonable price. Luckily this is exactly what I needed. It’s very easy to use and set up. I will buy another when needed

Won't safely hold a big 7s phone in a battery case. Hey. there's barely anything that does so that's not why it got three stars. It's pretty well made, fits ME snugly. The phone? ehhhh I think it would fall out.Here's why I three-starred it: When your phone is on your head, you can't see what it's recording. TBH you can't even be 100% sure it *is* recording. Like, you can't see the screen so you don't know what's actually in the viewfinder. So you might look at your video and all you see is the top or bottom half of people's faces. Or, you discover that the whole time you were fighting that bear and saving Yosemite, the camera was not even on.

I should have tried using it when I bought it instead of waiting till past the return window. It feels fine when you put it on empty but as soon as I put my iPhone11 pro in for use I discovered that it is not only hard to get the phone to clamp but also it doesn’t even come close to supporting the weight of the phone so for the purpose of head mount phone camera it is useless for me.

I wasn't expecting a firm, surprisingly well built and very sturdy item for 10 bucks but.. yup, this is excellent. The plastic components are sold and screw together tightly. The elastic headband material is at a prosumer level of quality with silicon tread to prevent it from slipping. The adjustable smartphone holder is spring loaded, has a very good rubber grip top and bottom and a edges to prevent the phone from slipping out. The strap fits an adult's head out of the box but can be extended or shortened depending on the size required. Overall, I am extraordinary pleased with this purchase.

This is a useful device for recording while wearing the phone on your head, but the piece that you use to tighten and lock down the angle is made of plastic, and even the slightest amount of pressure makes it crack, then it won't hold the necessary tension. It happened once before, and they replaced it, but it happened again on the replacement after only 2 uses. If you do not tighten it tightly, the weight of the phone makes it lose the angle, and you risk dropping and breaking the phone. This has to be redesigned, as the entire unit becomes unusable once this tightener cracks.

I have a Samsung S23 phone and it works well with this headstrap. Comfortable band. Sturdy and secure hold on the phone.
