I travel a lot for work and hate the standard small packets of coffee in hotel rooms, so I always pack my own to get a proper coffee fix. I have tried coffee bags from other companies and whilst they are ‘ok’ I was looking for something with the true taste of freshly ground coffee. These caramel flavour bags really pack a punch: the caramel isn’t overpowering and the coffee itself still comes through. In fact, they are so nice, I also use these at home when I can’t be bothered to crank up the coffee machine and do a full brew. And they are amazing value for money due to the number of bags in each packet. These are a must have for all coffee lovers out there and I can’t wait to try the rest of the range.

Well, this was a real surprise. I've tried flavoured ground coffee before, and was disappointed with it. But I am anything but disappointed with this.Wonderful aroma, and taste. Ok - slightly weaker than I would like, but I admit that I was using a huge mug (think it holds about a pint of liquid!). I'll update the review once I have put this in a "normal" sized mug, as this will be a fair review.*** Updated information... Yep. Better taste in a smaller (ok - regular sized) mug. I have noted the sediment in both mugs, but I get this with the cafetiere, so that doesn't bother me.Would I order it again? Yep. And am going to try the caramel bags as well....

Firstly, the coffee itself is delicious! The caramel flavour is very strong, but combines well with the coffee. On taste grounds, I can't fault this at all... which is a good thing, since it arrived with a best before date only 2½ months in the future. Doesn't leave me much time to get through 100 bags... but I'm sure I can make it!The problem, though, is that the bags are a bit on the fragile side; attempting to stir them in a cup (or even pour water over them too quickly) will cause them to burst, and a mouthful of coffee grounds doesn't enhance any flavour at all. What I've taken to doing is making them up in a teapot; that gives them room to be stirred, and if they do burst (which still seems to happen a third of the time) I can grab the traditional cone and filter and feed them through that... unfortunately doing that makes the taste a little insipid, because a lot of the flavour seems to be carried in the microgrounds that escape the filter bag. Which is why there's only half as much in them as is required for a filter+cone mug, I suppose.If the bags were just a little more able to withstand the rigours of being lightly stirred, then I'd have given 4 stars; if they'd arrived with a BBE of March instead of February, the full 5. That said, I'll likely order these again when I've run out of them; they're tasty and convenient... just not quite *as* convenient as they could have been.

They smell lovely, can definately taste the vanilla in them but the coffee itself is not as strong as I would like. Very handy to use/carry. Will only take a small drop of milk.

I love hazelnut flavoured coffee which is really hard to find in Europe and UK. The flavour of the coffee in these bags is top class with a distinctly wonderful hazelnut flavour. I have a big problem with the plastic in the bags themselves. A big 5 stars just dropped to 1 because of the plastic.

I’ve had two large bags of these now… the second was a replacement as the bags kept bursting…. The second lot also went in the bin because I had the same problem. Not sure if I had a bad batch but I just gave up and won’t be ordering anymore which is a shame as they are nice and convenient. I contacted the company directly who decided to ignore me so I’ll go elsewhere!

As a committed coffee drinker I was cert reluctant to try coffee bags. Imagine my surprise when I finally capitilated and tried Real Coffee's Vanilla flavoured coffee bags. I'm hooked. So much simpler and cleaner without coffee grounds everywhere. A new era in coffee drinking!
