Golden Art Nouveau Tarot

This was my first purchased tarot deck. I went through all of the available decks on Amazon and this was the one that I was drawn to most, and it looks even better 'in the flesh'. It is faithful to the imagery in the original RWS deck but dials the image quality up to 100. I therefore couldn't resist buying the larger set of the major arcana cards as well plus the matching bag. If I could only own one deck, this would be it.

Stunning cards, these cards are so beautiful they are my current favourite and if you're familiar with the RWS deck then you will be able to read with this deck very easily. I'm a bit disappointed in the LWB as it doesn't include reversal meanings but it's not a big deal.

I didn't know I needed another tarot deck closely based on the Rider Waite deck. Until I laid eyes on this deck, the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot. I have a lot of tarot decks. Two things I look for in a deck. 1. Is it easy to read and based on the Rider Waite deck or follows the Thoth tarot. 2. Is the art attractive and engages me in the images. This deck answers both those questions with a resounding YES! The deck is astoundingly attractive and every card is accented with gold foil to varying degrees. The pictures are very close to the Rider Waite without actually being a clone deck; this means it's familiar and easy to read yet refreshing at the same time. The card stock is pretty good too, something I don't find is always true with Lo Scarabeo decks. The card stock is thin but flexible and resilient, it will be good for those who like to riffle shuffle and should last a good while. I wouldn't hesitate to use this deck with clients - it's rare that I feel a surge of excitement when I see a new tarot deck but this one managed to illicit that response. This deck is worth treating yourself to.

Beautiful deck, slightly smaller than your standard deck, I have a RWS deck measuring 70mm x 120mm, the golden art nouveau tarot measures 66mm x 120mm, not a problem for me as I have small hands. I love the artwork, the gold brings the cards to life, they feel magical. They have stayed true to the RWS artwork but amplified its beauty. The little white book is very brief, so I would suggest beginners to buy a separate book to learn card meanings etc. The box the deck comes in is quite flimsy, made of thin card, I cannot see this lasting for very long so I will probably buy a box or something to store my cards to keep them in good condition.

A beautiful deck, gold shimmering, lovely to shuffle made from solid cardstock and clear pretty artistry, making this a great quality deck to work with.

Really beautiful cards which are based on RWS, so easy to use and understand for beginners. The gold looks stunning and the facial expressions are very descriptive. The card stock is a little thin and the edges would fray with regular use. Overall good size and pretty but I don't use it often.

These illustrations are GORGEOUS. AND they’re gilded. I couldn’t recommend them more. I’m thinking of buying more than one deck just because. The quality is excellent.

These are so much better in person than pictures can show - the designs & gold foiling are amazing, and the cards themselves are so silky smooth when shuffling. They are also similar enough to the Rider Waite deck that learning from there shouldn't be too difficult.

The cards are beautiful, the picture just doesn't do it justice. The gold is so shimmery. They feel sturdy. There is a small guide book, but it doesn't really tell you the meaning, it's more like a description of the card. I'm very happy with it.

Esse deck é muito bonito e impressionante. Pessoalmente, ele é ainda mais bonito do que nas fotos — extremamente brilhoso e com um visual que realmente chama atenção. Sobre o tamanho: ele não é um deck grande. Para quem procura cartas maiores, talvez não seja o ideal. Mas, para mim, o tamanho foi perfeito, pois ele encaixa muito bem nas mãos e é ótimo para embaralhar. As cartas deslizam muito bem durante a tiragem. O material lembra bastante o de cartas de baralho tradicional, o que torna o manuseio fácil e confortável. Em relação à espessura, as cartas são finas e bem maleáveis. Então, se você prefere cartas mais duras e firmes, talvez não seja a melhor opção. Mas, se gosta de cartas flexíveis, você vai curtir. No geral, valeu muito a pena a compra. Não me arrependi e recomendo, principalmente pela beleza e pelo brilho do deck. Comprei a versão do tamanho normal, padrão, da Editora Llewellyn Publications, paguei R$190,95. Chegou antes do prazo. Fiquem atentos para não cairem em golpes. Quando o deck chegou na alfândega, recebi uma mensagem no WhatsApp informando que o deck estava detido na alfândega e precisava pagar uma taxa de importação para liberar, porém essa mensagem é golpe. No momento da compra já está incluso os impostos e taxas da importação.

J'aime beaucoup, ce tarot rider waite Smith, bien dessiné, avec le côté art nouveau, il est très beau. Pour ceux et celles qui veulent apprendre le tarot, n'hésitez surtout pas ! Un magnifique tarot pour nous éclairer sur notre chemin, pour faire le point sur sa vie à l’instant T, pour nous orienter sur nos choix de demain.

Les cartes sont très belles, je l'utilise essentiellement en période de fêtes de fin d'année. Je regrette juste que les cartes soient un peu plus fines que d'autres tarots ou oracles de 350g .
