Get this book to learn the history of the COGIC. We are using it in the School of Ministry. You will understand and know how the COGIC started.

this book does its purpose in giving a great detail of how the church of god in christ got started it even gave a good detail about other denominations such as church of god & assembles of god started. great history backgroud I did wanted to find a little more on bishop mason personal persecutions but over all it was a great book recommend to anyone want to know cogic history especially member which I am

i choose this rating because when I read this Book, and seen within the Book what this Man of God went through, He did not quite, He is an encourage, a motivator, Living by example showing others how you can achieve what ever you wants to do in this life. by reading this book the word is so strong until it give you chills

The book was very good. However, I would have enjoyed more quotes from all the leaders mentioned.
