Sleeves are made of Copper or Brass and are available Nickel plated and Black oxidized. Sleeves can be fitted to wire, monofilament, and other various lines. When matching sleeves to wire, use single-barrel sleeves with an inside diameter of more than twice the wire diameter you are crimping. 45# Knot 2 Kinky leaders. Most pass two strands snugly and some very hard to get second strand through…maybe slight variation

Outer sleeves were exactly what I needed.
Kit included outer sleeves and inner sleeves. Maybe the inner are for filament but I was working with steel wire that was coated so the inner sleeves didn’t fit, so next time I’ll order a larger size.

Homemade pop=gear strings.
This is just what I needed to make pop-gear for fishing. I can make strings for a couple of dollars instead of spending $25 for store bought. It is not as painful to lose a couple dollar strings due to snags. From experience it is easier to let her know that losing 3 strings of homemade pop-gear is still cheaper than buying fish from the store instead of losing $75 of pop-gear and trying to explain it.
