This is a very nice product of dry gol gappa from India. It is as a coin shaped chips that is ready to fry and pop-up to a ball for making pani puri. As indicated on the package, the ingredients of these chips compose of flour, potatoes, and chickpeas that would pop-up in hot oil. It works well in my hand at a medium low heat. One side popped up first to half a ball then I turn it over to pop the other side. The balls have a very thin crust that is crispy and delicious. It is easy to puncture a hole and stuff in with the filling you like. There are a few filed to pop, probably because there isn’t enough oil. The chips are dry and easy to store. As labeled on the package, the shelf life is one year.
