I have 10 grandchildren 1yr to 13. The elementary school ones have a hard time distinguishing between Pioneers and Pilgrims. This doll really helped. As a 40 year teacher, I know social studies hands-on artifacts are really vital to the memory. With five girls, it is great!

Good for school projects. Little pricey.
So I used this doll in a school project and it turned out great, I got an A+! But I feel like the doll was a little over priced.

Perfect Thanksgiving Season Barbie
Wanted a special gift for my granddaughter for Thanksgiving. Great for a little history lesson along with the doll. This fits the bill. Her dress is a darker red velvet like material with the off white overlay. She comes with a basket with corn in it. Very nice.
