Excellent scope for the price!
This scope is perfect for the 22 cal rifle that I use for varmints! Having the base and rings make for an easy setup! I feel it’s a bargain for what you get! Sighting in was a breeze, really easy to adjust, and stays pretty bright near dusk!

Pretty happy!
It arrived today, I popped it on my trusty 1976 Marlin/Glenfield Model 60, and took it to the range tonight. I'm very happy so far. This replaced the little 4X Glenfield scope that came with the rifle. It was never very clear and always too dark, so I usually just left it off. It was a "Free Scope with your rifle" deal back in '76 as I recall. The Barska gives me a much clearer, brighter picture and a lot more magnification. It fits the Model 60's dovetail mounting grooves fine and zeroing was easy; just twist the knobs. It's still early going, but early impressions are very good. It looks mighty nice and impressive on this rifle. It's a great, accurate, reliable old piece, but I may have to refinish the stock so the gun doesn't feel embarrassed. I was a little put off by reviews complaining about poor mounts and a smell. Maybe they improved the mounts, because these seem fine to me. Far better than the ones on the scope that came with the rifle, and those did the job adequately. As for the smell; I get what people are referring to. I don't find it all that strong or objectionable. It smells like a new tire to me. No doubt it will fade with time. On the Model 60, the tightening knobs (fingers, coin, or screwdriver) do get a little in the way of the charging handle. Still workable, but slightly annoying. I plan to reverse the mounts so these knobs are on the left instead of the right.

Pretty good
Pretty good for price, holds zero. Seems pretty durable. Decent sight acquisition. Does well in most light. Rings provided are junk, but very reliable scope once replaced

Good scope, bad rings.
I purchased this scope to go on a Marlin 60, as the stock sights do not hold true. It replaced my prior cheapie Tasco scope, primarily for the sight picture and eye relief. Overall, this scope is fantastic, doubly so for one that I got for less than $50. It holds zero, has a wonderful eye relief/sight picture, and is made my eyestrain after a long day plinking disappear. Sighting it in took a little bit, as it was a good inches off at 50 yards, but... the windage and elevation screws are easy to turn by hand, and once sighted, stayed there. It took me about a half hour, but once there, I was putting five shot groups that'd fit under a dime at 50 yards with regularity. Beautiful. There are only a couple cons, and they weren't enough to knock down a star: The lens caps they provide don't stay on worth a darn, far too loose. It may be possible to shorten up the elastic cords holding them on and get a little more snugness, but they'll only stay on stock as long as you're not jostling them. As my gun goes from safe to carrier and back to safe, this wasn't a problem. The mounting rings they provided are absolute rubbish. Junk, junk, junk. Get rid of them. Buy something better, ANYTHING better. A piece of bubblegum stuck to your gun will provide a better hold. I cranked the screws down until I was worried I would break them... and then a bit past that. The entire assembly still started slipping backwards after about 15 shots. Luckily, I had marked the mount points, so I didn't have to re-zero it every time, but..... New rings are a must. So to sum up: Pros: Cheap, reliable, easy to adjust, holds true, great on the eyes. Cons: The lens caps are too loose and the stock mounting rings are horrid. Conclusion: Excellent value for the money, excellent for a fun day at the range, and overall a positive experience. 06/03/2013 - Editted to add: I replaced the stock rings with a UTG Airgun .22 Medium Profile Integral 1-Inch Ring Mount (currently just a bit over $17 and Prime eligible). This mount fit my Marlin 60 perfectly, holds like a bear, and fixes the problem of the bad stock rings.

Great Value
Keep in mind the price point this scope is at. The overall construction of the scope is pretty solid. The materials used in this product are not cheap in appearance or feel. I especially like that the turret covers are metal instead of cheap plastic. There are rubber gaskets at the base of the turrets for water resistance. Nice touch. The turret adjustments have great tactile feedback and can easily be adjusted with your fingers, knife or coin. Excellent job there. The one drawback is the profile of the turret is fairly significant. Not a major thing. The scope rings provided are okay given what you pay for the scope. The muzzle side scope ring doesn't mate correctly and is crooked. Other than appearance this doesn't seem to affect performance of the scope rings. Scope mounting seems to be rock solid. My only complaint is the mounting screws on the side locking the scope to the dovetail have a significant profile. The forward screw interferes with the actuation of the action (auto .22). With a bolt action it is probably fine. It would be nice it the lock down screws were lower profile. Reticle focusing is okay. It's not super sharp but for what you pay and for my use (plinking) it's sufficient. Optical quality (focus & clarity) is excellent for the price point. Once sited in I was able to get a quarter-sized group @ 30yds. The light transmission capability exceeded my expectations. It's not excellent but pretty darn good for the price point. The 32mm objective lens is great especially for inexperienced shooters improving target acquisition speed. Overall this is a great value. You get a pretty good optic that won't break the bank. I highly recommend this product especially for recreational/plinking, small game hunting uses. I would not recommend for competitive or big game use.

This Scope the Bakska 3-9X32 mm was definitely an over-kill for my Grizzly Scout plinker air rifle with the limited space in my basement (9 yards). And to highly restrictive Canadian by laws regarding air rifles, I cannot shoot in my private backyard, so am forced to use my basement and not able to take advantage of my air rifle and Bakska 3-9X32 mm scopes full potential. Initially, was ordering a cheap scope which was listed on Amazon for about $20 cd but in error selected this scope. I realized my mistake and but decided to keep the scope anyway as I was impressed with its quality. (Two days after ordering the scope Amazon dropped the price on it site by several Dollars) The lens are clear and sharp and the knobs easy to adjust. Compared to a Tassco that I bought many years ago for double the price, this Bakska 3-9X32 mm is far superior and built for serious users. This scope would be ideal for anyone with a range of 50 to 100 yards to play.

Montée sur une 22 lr pour le moment rien à signaler si ce n'est qu'il vaut mieux prévoir de bonnes fixations car celles d'origine sont un peu légères. Si vous voulez une bonne lunette (sur petit calibre) pas trop chère foncez !
