No video but it looks really good and yes the water runs down the sides and it makes a trickle noise. It also has a light which looks lovely in the dark

Q: Is it possible to alter the flow of the pump please?

Yes. There is a regulator at the front of the pump. Trial and error in either clockwise or anti clockwise to get the desired flow.
