Works good for Garmin
It does what it says it will do. Was a little disappointed that it didn't significantly increase my GPS accuracy though. However when the GPS internal antenna has you within 11 feet and the antenna is 8 feet, I don't think the antenna is the issue, I just have a very accurate GPS (Garmin chart plotter) with only the internal antenna. Mounted easily, sturdy clamp/mount. Seems to be of high quality. Good buy.

Great antenna
I replaced the factory antenna on my northstar 952 chart plotter - with this antenna - and the performance increased 10 fold. Signal strengths are much much better. Number of satellites in view has increased. This goes to show - what a poor antenna came with my original chart-plotter purchase. Having said that - this is an excellent improvement in antenna performance.

Nice antenna setup
Ok I got this scanner that needs gps. So long story short hooked this up to the proprietary cable and six hours later G P S. Oh my kingdom to be young again.

GPS Antenna
A great buy for the price, it works just fine for the area that I travel. I am only in the bay area of the Chesapeake but if you are going off shore I would recommend a much more advance antenna.Yes I would the product because I'm pleased with it. The delivery time was good.

Gets good signal.
Using this at home with a GPS-DO frequency reference. Mounted just clear of the roof, it works much, much better than those little black square antennas. I clipped the connector off the end to replace it with a type-N, coax does indeed seem to be pretty standard RG-58, dunno why everything 'marine' is white, hope it's UV resistant, at least it was cheap.
