The Original Thread Cutter by Sunflower Quilts (Green)

When making hundreds of face masks I sew one after another without cutting thread between each mask. This saves time and thread. This little gadget makes clipping my "little sausages" apart so much faster and easier.The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars for ease of use is because of the blade height. When the masks are a closer together it's a bit more difficult to cut. The width of plastic on either side of the blade impedes the use in this case. Otherwise it's such a great little tool. I can't believe I didn't know about this before.

This is a great item to have on hand when you are doing string piece sewing. Mine is very sturdy and definitely a time saver. I would give it 5 stars but the blade was not as sharp as it should be.

This little tool is a real time saver. Very sharp and I can cut threads between quilt pieces like zip, zip, zip. I saw one of these on a jelly roll rug youtube video. The lady was bragging on it. I had to have one and I am so glad I ordered it. I use it everyday. So convenient.

I really wanted to LOVE this tool, but I don’t. The blade isn’t sharp and I have to use a saw-like motion to get it to cut two thread. The tool, however, is stable. Just disappointed in the sharpness of the blade.

I love this device! It saves time when piece sewing quilt blocks. I can easily cut them without using scissors or snips. It's a time saver. The only downside is the blade cannot be replaced. It comes in several colors although they are difficult to find.

I love love love this time saving tool! Very sturdy and a game changer for the quilter!Highly recommend.

I must say that this is better than the ring thread cutter I have, but, the blade imbedded is too small to really cut thru thread as efficiently as I had hoped, so I find myself having to use more pressure and slowing down any momentum I had hoped to gain when separating chained pieces.

Okay...not only does this do the job it's suppose to with ease...it is ADORABLE!
