Amazing. Bought as a gift,

its looks good but the sound is bad to the point its funny

My husband loved this gift. Well made and durable. Only issue was that the hand holder does not do a great job and the ocarina falls off a lot. Could just be us though?Overall a lovely item.

For all the fans out there this is great & has a song book too.

It looks nice and would make a nice ornamental piece but as for sound as an instrument it's terrible it's out of tune supposed to be set to a C but is a D so 2 octaves out the lower keys are very flat the higher notes are non recognisable and sound the same if you want this product as an instrument then stay away from this, it is not a musical instrument its an ornament although the stand it comes with is very unstable so you may want to stick it in place with glue or tack.

It's a must have for zelda fans

Like many of you thinking this now, I thought "surely it can't be as bad as people say". Yes. Yes it is. Its horrible and if this is your first ocarina it's gonna put you off the instrument very fast. It is horribly out of tune and the sound is very breathy instead of melodic when playing the notes (presumable due to its small size leading to less resonant sounds). That said the design is cool but not playable past the first 4 notes. If you want a good ocarina for practising and playing. I recommend an STL or a Songbird ocarina. There is a nice wooden finish one on amazon that is also just as good for playing and practising. Just not this one
