ObviouslyPrimeMan - Brief

If you're on the larger end and have never been comfortable, that's about to change
Life-changing. Seriously. If you're on the larger end and have never been comfortable, that's about to change. Also, if you tend to have discernible carrot/potato/potato when you wear anything remotely fitted, the pouch will unify things into a tidier codpiece shape that rarely needs adjustment. I know that sounds like it would be mashed together but somehow, magically, it is not. It does not minimize bulge, but at least it's less anatomically explicit. The support is amazing. Like everything is suddenly helium-filled.I agree with other reviewers on the recommended sizing--it's wrong. I'm a 33 waist and absolutely needed a large. Medium chafed at the waist and legs. I only ordered multiples of Titanium color, so I can't comment on sizing varying between colors.

Erratic Sizing
Since discovering Obviously pouch underwear it's all I wear. Very expensive but economical in the long run since they last forever.I had purchased a PrimeMan brief in the Ice color, in the Large size (even though by Obviously's sizing I should have ordered a Medium) and it's wonderful, with a perfect fit.I wanted the same thing in red but although you'd expect it to be the identical brief, only in a different color, the sizing was noticeably different and the brief rode up my butt.I ordered a red in Extra Large and it fits great. So that's my only complaint.....sizing is sporadic and what fits great in one color won't necessarily fit great in another color.

The Best Underwear Ever. But Be Sure You Can Return Them!
The only thing I don't like about Obviously underwear is their erratic sizing. Although I wear a 32" waist in jeans, I have to order these briefs in a Large, which according to the manufacturer's sizing should be huge on me.Even more frustrating is that the sizing varies between different models of otherwise very similar briefs, and sometimes even between different colors of the same model brief!So....always buy from a seller that allows returns!Nonetheless, these are the only undies worth buying. Once you experience the anatomical pouch you'll never go back to flat-fronted skivvies. And the bamboo material is light and comfortable. While they might seem frightfully expensive they wear like iron. I still have my very first pair which have been worn and washed weekly for about five years now and the elastic is still perfect and the color has only just started to fade, even though they're black. So in the long run they're actually more economical than three-for-ten-dollar undies that wear out within a few months.

You'll Never Wear Anything Else
Since discovering Obviously pouch underwear it is all I buy. It may seem extremely expensive at first, but they wear like iron. I still have my first pair, which have been worn and washed nearly weekly for three years and even though they are black they are only just beginning to fade. The waistband elastic is still perfect. So these undies are actually economical in the long run.Even if they weren't, you'd still want to wear nothing else once you try them on. The first time you can't help thinking "Why isn't all men's underwear designed like this?"My only complaint is that their sizing is erratic, and will even vary when you order the same exact model but in a different color. Generally I find their sizing runs small, but it's a matter of personal preference. I can wear these in Obviously's suggested size, but they are really brief briefs. Ordering one size up not only looks better, it's more comfortable as well. No riding up the butt.

Pouch is comfortable, but is not a regular brief
I was looking for some underwear with more room in the front. Most brands that accommodate this feature tend to be marketed towards gay men who are looking to actually enhance the appearance of their genitals. That isn't me, and I searched high and low for something that was sold in a brief and didn't make me look like I served drinks in a gay club. Then I found Obviously, and their marketing materials seemed to be geared towards guys who just need a comfortable pair of underwear. Great. The pouch being simply more material in the front was exactly what I was looking for. So I picked up this pair and another pair of a different range.Fit:The sizing information that Obviously provides is accurate. The underwear stretches very easily and conforms to your body. When I pulled them up for the first time, the boys landed happily and perfectly into the pouch without any need for an adjustment, which was a first for me. In fact, the pouch is quite frankly perfect from a comfort perspective. Normally when I put on a pair of underwear, I am completely aware of the crotch of the underwear pressing gently against the gents. With these, they just sat in there. It was quite the revelation. As far as the style of underwear advertised, I would not call this a true brief. They have three styles of briefs they sell: the brief, the bikini brief and the hipster brief. Given this, I somewhat expected these to be cut more conservatively with greater coverage of the butt and a higher rise on the waist. Unfortunately, I would classify these more in the hipster brief range. The effect ends up being somewhat absurd. The visual of the size of the pouch compared with the rest of the underwear ends up being hilariously obscene when wearing them. Otherwise, they ride up extremely easily, both due to the cut and the material.Material:The material is a very thin modal/lycra blend. These underwear stretch much easier than any other underwear I have ever experienced, but the material is also much thinner than any underwear I have ever experienced. The underwear maintains its structure for the most part, but where it doesn't conform to your body it will crease obviously. For example, if you have any sort of gut, there will be creases around the leg holes. If you just want underwear, this isn't a problem, but given the cut vs how it's advertised to fit, these are meant to be shown off. You can see this in the colors and designs on offer. One last note on the thinness of the material, consider that sometimes you just have a bad pooping day. Not a catastrophic one, but a bad one. It happens to all of us. The material on its own is the thickness of two or three pieces of paper stacked on one another. Now consider that the thinness of material contributes to the underwear riding up. Now ask yourself if that sounds like it's going to provide a sufficient barrier for your pants. I am not bold enough to test this, but my gut says no. I also cannot anticipate these holding up well in the wash too many times. Conclusion:I am actually extremely frustrated by these. I cannot stress enough how comfortable the pouch is compared to normal sized underwear. Unfortunately, it seems like Obviously is trying to straddle that line between wannabe gogo boys and men who just want some comfortable underwear. At this point, I am happy to just be happy with my Mack Weldon AirknitX briefs, which are big enough in the pouch to avoid adjusting all day. If Obviously wants to get serious about men's essentials then I will consider them again.

They're worth it
These are my favorite pair, I have a few from this brand after discovering just how nice it is to have underwear that is designed for those who are more well endowed. They look very nice and have held up very well. Providing excellent support at the mall and the gym, without the need to constantly adjust myself thanks to the spacious and well contoured pouch. I can not recommend giving these a shot strongly enough if you have ever felt a lack of space in your underwear before.

Greastest pair I've ever worn
, love the fabric. I've worn modal one's, but these (modal and lycra) are amazing, super soft and stretchy. Worth the money I paid, and I placed the order Feb 14. Got them Feb 27, waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy ahead of the estimated March 9-30th. Extremely happy with this purchase, will want to buy again, LOVE these PrimeMan Hipsters.
