This is a very nice heavy duty lock. Actually the cable could be longer and easier to work with.... But this was a great price and cheaper than the lower-grade one!

My bicycle chain and lock very convenient and strong. A very good choice.

It is kind of easy to use at least for the most part. It's hard to twist and move around so it was a little bit difficult to get it set up, but after you get it to the right position it closes and opens easily. It worked perfectly for my regular size bike and it reached the pole and everything without any issues. I just wish there was a little bit easier to twist when they're trying to set it up.

U lovks best with allyminum bike racks large should hold ar least 5 bikes. Ebikes like das ok. I think the electric bike have us an early prototype. Teens like them because it guves them more feedom to range begore they get their drivers licesnse.. not sure about the headwhere on bikes an motocycles. Id leave this to Dr. Minn.

Worked well at first as an indoor/outdoor bike lock, but the locking mechanism rusted and stopped working in a little under a year of use. Will rust and lose function if it gets wet multiple times.

Provides adequate security for low-threat areas. What I mean by this is that the product will provide enough protection for your bicycle in areas where the potential thief is likely to be unprepared. For example, if you ride your bike to school, the most likely thief is another student. That person is unlikely to carry the tools needed to cut the cable or to pick the lock. But, this lock is not adequate for use in high crime areas where the thief is most likely carrying bolt cutters and lock picks. Any pair of bolt cutters will make short work of the cable. The lock cylinder can also be picked by anyone with training. For high threat areas, use a solid U-shaped lock, with a tubular lock cylinder. A solid U-lock will be harder to cut. A regular hardware store hacksaw will have trouble cutting through a solid U-lock. And, a tubular lock will require a set of expensive and special tools in order to pick. Bear the level of threat in mind, and spend accordingly. This is a very inexpensive lock that will be more than suitable for your child's bicycle at the elementary/middle school bike rack. You probably will not send your kid to school on a $2,000 mountain bike, right? I would not hesitate to use this product to protect a $300-$600 bike that is used in a low crime area. Highly recommended.

Si buscas una cadena que te brinde la seguridad/confianza que estás buscando, está sería una de ellas. La cadena se siente de buena calidad, es gruesa, así que no la pueden romper tan fácilmente. Puede que sea un poco pesado, pero se tiene que tener en cuenta el material que está hecho y el protector ayuda a que no se dañe la estructura de la bicicleta.

Had to return as it's quite heavy and the holders can't keep the lock in place. Very big in size.
