Birds approve!
Well the birds loved it lol but it lasted longer than other brands. The size was perfect for my backyard flock.

The birds loves these! They do last a bit longer than smaller 4" cakes.
We get several different kinds of woodpeckers that really enjoy this cake. Of course it will attract some others... You will need to appropriate cage for it. There are other alternate serving suggestions on package.

Great Bird Blocks
Long time purchaser of all the assorted Kaydee brand cakes/blocks. Birds love them. They are high quality and you can't find them cheaper anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Loose Seed
Good value, just get beat up in transit or are already have loose edges prior to packaging. Open outside or into another bag.

Very Good Bird Attractor
Even though these are called Cardinal Seed Blocks they also attract Cardinals but other birds too as well as Cardinals. I'm in the desert southwest and have the seed block on a window sill and we get lots of Quail every day along with Towhees, Sparrows, Finches and Doves. Tip: We have a loose seed dome feeder in our yard too and although the Cardinals do go to these seed blocks they do go to the dome feeder a bit more. Still, this is and excellent all around bird attractor.

Multiple LOVE this one and it attracts many different ones in droves!
The year round and migration birds love this, but so do the year round squirrels. They'd eat the whole cake in a day if I didn't take it down and put it back out the next day. With the crew in our yard, one cake lasts about two and a half to three full days-only if I put it out at 7am and take down at 5pm. It's definitely one of the more popular cakes we have bought that seems to attract multiple types of birds to dining on it. It's fairly priced and goes on sale every so often so watch for the deal and double up! It has no odor, is not messy and stays together better and much longer to other cakes we tried. We have wrens, warblers, woodpeckers, blue jays, mockingbirds, painted buntings, cowbirds, cardinals, meadowlarks, and all the doves presently enjoying it so far here in "fall" of eastern FL.

The squirrels (and birds!) love these
I buy these often, but primarily for the squirrels. The birds like whatever falls on the ground, but the squirrels are quite possessive, and the birds stay out of their way. We love squirrels, so that's fine with us. This brand and variety has a nice mix of nuts and seeds, and it holds together well.

Did not crumble and fall apart until the chunk was so small it fell through the cage.
Wonderful! Lasted with multiple woodpeckers feeding from it. Held together through a rain.
