Story and Art designed to please long time fans
Probably one of the last times we are allowed to get comics like this. The big 2 in the industry seem to want to stay away from their original fans and they now have redesigned most heroes costumes in a manner that would suit a 14th century cleric. The writing is good and the art is up to par and it is nice that the main characters are still drawn similar to the way most fans like them.If you spend most of your time on social media, you may want to avoid this.

It's a great book
A fun book to read to the kids. Learn about superman, batman, power girl, and huntress. Also there is an evil superman who joins the party.

The story was superb, but the artwork just didn't match the mood.
Collects Worlds' Finest issues #18-21, Worlds' Finest Annual #1, and Batman/Superman issues #8-9I liked this story a lot, so I was trying to figure out, "Why do I want to give this a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star rating?" The thing that kept popping into my head was the artwork. I am just not a fan of the artwork in this book. There was one issue in this collection where I felt like the artwork was the right fit for the story (the Annual), but otherwise it was way too moody for this type of story. With that complaining out of the way, I will say that the story was awesome. Power Girl and Huntress have been trying to find a way to get back to Earth 2 since their series began, and they may have actually done it. During the journey to this discovery, they meet the Earth 0 Batman and Superman for the first time and it is so much fun to see this finally happen (especially the Bruce and Helena interactions). The Annual features stories from Kara and Helena's days back on Earth 2 (as Supergirl and Robin), but that mini-story acts as the epilogue for the "First Contact" storyline.

Almost good... almost
OK, I knew I said I was done with this series after the pointless 3rd book, but the fantastic Jae Lee cover and the promise that the plot was FINALLY moving forward persuaded me to pick this one up.And, it was almost good. After 3 books of puttering around, Huntress and Power Girl finally decide to reveal themselves to Superman and Batman to warn them and ask for help. There's some good interaction between the two leads and their 'parents' (one world removed). They even manage to move the main plot forward, briefly contacting their home of Earth 2.BUT... The book is a crossover between Worlds' Finest drawn by R.B. Silva and Superman/Batman drawn by Jae Lee and their styles do not mesh at all. It's like watching half of a David Lynch film and half of a Michael Bay film. Lee's moody, shadowy, stylistic art doesn't look like it belongs on the same world as Silva's straightforward superhero art. If one or the other had done the whole book it would get another star (maybe two if Lee did the whole book). And then of course there's the ending, another to be continued, and another crossover this time with whatever's going on in the main Earth 2 book. Will I be back for book 4? I dunno. DC and Marvel's increasing dependence on crossovers and universes make it impossible to just enjoy one book, they want us to follow dozens of books and multiple events and if my choice is follow the whole line or nothing, I'll pick nothing. There's lots of great books out there that are not chained to 52 other comics.
