Some reviewers say these magnets are not very strong but they are designed for light craft work (eg bookmarks) and as such they are strong enough to do the job perfectly and, in my opinion, are great value. I want them for catching papers together (eg bookmarks, hand made envelopes etc) and they are just the job. Very pleased.

I have had magnetic strips in the past which had a good magnetic adhesion compared to the recent purchase. For example they do not cope well with anything too thick or heavy in between the strip and the metal surface. However, given the price they are OK.

Not very good. I ordered these magnet's to use on a hinged double door on my appliance garage so that the door closes flush,, as one door operates from the middle hinge not the hinge on the unit, so it doesn’t close like a regular door. This was the only magnet I could find thin enough so that the door would fit flush with the cover panel on the side of the unit.But it isn’t strong at all. I don’t know what you could use it for that would have any weight. The magnet does keep the door closed but there is no pull or resistance like you’d expect. As the magnets aren’t metal it was easy to cut them to size. That’s the only positive remark I can think of. The magnets aren’t holding any weight but just lightly stopping the bottom of the door sticking out. Maybe metal versions would be stronger.

Great size and adhesive side is very sticky. Unfortunately there's not much strength to the magnet. You would need to add a few of these together to hold anything with a bit of weight.

These magnets are perfect, they have a really good hold and I love the fact that they are in pairs!!

Not great quality. Adhesive on reverse is pretty useless as it just will not stick and comes away when under pressure from opposing pads. Will need to resort to applying glue

Bought these for crafting. The adhesive is nice and strong. The tape is easy to remove. The amount of magnesium is strong. Works well for a magnetic bookmark.
