As a natural brunette in my youth, I’ve my dyeing my hair brown since the greys have been coming in. No matter what shade of brown I used, it always came out nearly black, and looked awful for a few washes until it faded a bit, and then when the greys came through again it would be a really stark contrast.I thought I’d try a dark blonde, thinking it may come out a lighter brown, and help blend the roots (shade 700). Surprisingly, it’s seemed to lighten all my hair to a golden brown, which looks great, and hides root regrown really well. I don’t know how a semi-permanent hair dye can lighten hair, but works well for me, so will continue reordering!

Just used the new formula for the first time. No need to wet hair first, makes it less messy and quicker to apply. Even colour. Coloured all white roots too!Lids upcyle to light pull .

Excellent colour, not keen on the conditioner in the box

Opened the box to begin dye process. It’s missing the step 2 bottle… you know, the part you actually NEED to dye your hair a different colour. What a joke.
