Great scratch mat
This is the third time I’ve bought one as my cat loves it and it has stopped her sharpening her claws on my carpets!

Perfect for elderly cat
We used as a step for our 18 year old cat to get on the sofa! She climbed up straight away! Lovely! Really lightweight

Cats love it!
My cats LOVE this and they both use it all the time so in that respect, it is a 5 star buy as it stops them shredding the sofas! I had to put 4 stars though as it does eventually get scratched to pieces and bits of cardboard get all over the floor. That said, it’s worth it and when this one becomes too shabby, I’ll be buying another! My cats go super crazy for the catnip that comes with it but they still use the scratcher once the catnip has worn off.

Kitten loves it, I love it - 27293719% recommend!!
I did research scratching posts quite a bit before getting this. Wanted something practical that I could teach the kitten to enjoy - which I feel is harder to do with traditional scratching posts. The height of this is really perfect for a small kitten and after just a few days, she’s using it! Both to scratch her claws on but as a launchpad to attack mice toys... The arch on it seems to occupy her endlessly as well, which I didn’t expect. Aside from all the joy it gives my kitten - obvious priority - the other good thing is I would say it’s quite modern and fits quite well into my interior.

Mine was selected for dual use as step and scratching
This is much better than hoped for since the card I'd heavy duty and not that thinner type you get on the plain flat cat scratching posts. And because it's mounted on a stiff back and at a ramp angle it's more attractive to the cat. I bought it hoping he would use it for both a scratch post and as a ramp/ step to reach the sofa and my hope was satisfied. He uses it several times a day and it is very stable in use.

It's just cardboard but worth every penny.
When my wife and son both begged for us to rescue a cat from the Cats Protection League my first thoughts were both poop and the leather sofa - especially as a previous cat had great delight is shredding the side of our old leather sofa. So I bought this thinking what have I got to lose and you know what, it might only be a lump of compressed cardboard but it is worth every penny. We bought it just before our rescued cat arrived and from day one she clambered onto this scratcher and scratched for England leaving our sofa, curtains and furniture alone. Sure, over the months a few tiny claw marks have appeared in the sofa where she has jumped on and off and we have had to replace the scratcher but she has never attempted to scratch the furniture. As far as the cat is concerned this scratcher is what you scratch on. For that reason I can't recommend it enough.

He loves it!
I brought this as I have adopted an ex feral cat and I wanted to try him on a scratcher. As soon as I sprinkled some catnip on it, he was away. Now he goes nuts on it and has figured out if he stands on the top and scratches down, it doesn't wobble. It is withstanding his onslaught nicely and I will keep buying this brand when it needs replacing. It's my first experience with a cardboard scratcher and I'm really happy with it and so is Coco Pops!
