Great for Replacement!
Simple and easy replacement.NOTE: To all the reviewers that said "the head blew off", this unit is NOT shipped with a nozzle. You need to add a nozzle to it. The piece that "blew" off is a piece of plastic that keeps the internals clean until you put a nozzle on.

Guts and overall length are different from rain bird and orbit.
It’s a good sprinkler. The internals are not interchangeable with the rain bird or orbit 6” sprinkler body. Its overall length is about 3/4” shorter but I’m using it.

These are great
The builder of my housing track used Hunter basic series sprinkler heads. The spray nozzles are compatible with Rainbird. As the old ones wear out (now 20 years later) I replace them with this Pro model. The thing I like about them is they don't have that side knobby connector, if I dig these out just a little at the top and the soil is moist I can unscrew the original and screws these in. Purge the line before putting the nozzle on and I'm ready to go. Digging one of these all the way out is a chore in my clay/crap soil.

Awesome product at a great price!
Bought this replacement sprayer last week and it fit perfectly. Make sure to put on a sprayer head before you turn it on. Most local hardware stores did not have this hunter replacement sprayer. Thank you Amazon!!

No spray head with this product.
Doesn't come with spray head. Would not have bought this if I knew that. Also, there is no side port.

easy replacement
bought to replace a 4" pop-up that wasn't getting clearance to ground. (added dirt to that part of yard). The old one was sticking.unscrew old, screw in new. This is body only. You need to buy sprinkler head of choice. I bought a generic bag of various heads and ready to go.
