🔨 Elevate your DIY game with the VESSEL MEGADORA IMPACTA!
The Vessel Megadora Impacta 980 series screwdrivers are available in #2 and #3 JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) cross point tips. These screwdrivers are unique as they are a screwdriver and impact driver in one. This patent pending design features an internal tang-thru nut with a 12 degree cam rotation mechanism, which rotates the shaft each time the handle is hit with a hammer. The triple molded non-slip handles are a combination of hard plastic and elastomer in a hexagonal shape for a comfortable grip and excellent torque transmission. The matte finish shafts lead to a magnetized black coated tip. These are among the highest quality Japanese screwdrivers available.

Awesome
I have worked on my cars for the past 38 years. I have a lot of tools. Some name brand tools and some not. I have never heard of this brand, but I'll try it. What a surprise I had. I had to get the front rotor off my 2008 Honda Element. The screw that holds it on would not come off. I remembered I just bought this impact screw driver. I took it out hit the handle with the hammer and the screw driver bit into the screw head and the screw came out. It was a perfect fit. I use it to take off the screw on the other rotor without needing to use the impact function. It just gripped the screw head so well that i was able to just turn. Wonderful. I bought two more in different sizes. It came from Japan and had to wait a while to get it...worth the wait.

Don't work on Japanese bikes without it!
Invaluable tool for working on Japanese bikes. Especially if you intend on reusing your old screws. The impact feature worked beyond my expectation for freeing a couple of really stuck screws. Hold the screw driver with a little pressure lefty loosey, give it a good smack with a hammer, no more stuck screws.

Good item works If you know how to use ewdriver does require common sense so maybe it's not for you
This item works as it is described it is a mild impact screw driver. If you don't have the capability or the intelligence to know how to use this Item it is not the items fault it is the moron using it. That is like saying a ratchett only deserves one star and that it does it work because it only loosens bolts. Because you didn't switch the direction of said ratchet. I know this is a screwdriver I'm using the ratchett. ( To explain to the mental midgets). I used a high speed camera and recorded this screwdriver in action. Be reasonable and the item will work as it says. Would you use this item to remove a screw that has been rusted in place for 15 years. No well maybe you would if you were one of those morons that writes the review it didn't work. But has no grounds for proof because they don't know how to use a tool

Works perfectly
Please, disregard opinions posted that complain that this tool does not work. EXCEPT for what I'd guess is the unlikely instance of getting a faulty tool, this impact driver works exactly as advertised. That you might not SEE it turn when you impact the tool does not mean it does NOT turn. Also, ignore references to how good a 'phillips' tool this is. NO one looking at, buying, or using this tool should be confused that this is NOT a phillips driver. I did not say it won't turn a phillips-head screw. It will. Then, so will a common screwdriver or kitchen knife tip turn a phillips screw. The point is, it is a JIS spec tool. That is what it is designed for and that is where it works best. If you haven't done it and have any question, insert this tool into a known JIS fastener and compare the fit to how a phillips tool fits into the JIS fastener. The difference is night and day, which is what it is SUPPOSED to be. The phillips was DESIGNED to 'cam-out' to prevent assembly line fastener breakage.

A good buy
Seems to be the PH2 screwdriver with the best fitting to the screws, of the ones I tried.

Great screwdriver if you have Japanese components
These JIS screwdrivers are really a superior design to use if you have Japanese parts to work on. I own a couple of Honda products, and a Phillips screwdriver will not torque properly - Phillips was designed to slip at high torque to minimize over-tightening. Having the impact ability with this lets you free up really tight (or seized) JIS screws. These Vessel screwdrivers seem to be well-made and a good value. They will save you money in the long run if you have to replace screws from using a Phillips on a Japanese car, motorcycle or bicycle.

ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE FOR VINTAGE JAP BIKES
This this is the shiznit. Works great on JIS screws, works better than a philips driver on philips screws. Just get one if you are hands on at all.

Oh my! These are brilliant!
Hands down the Very Best screwdrivers I've ever used. They are perfect for dismantling/servicing old motorcycles/anything. Loving the 12° counterclockwise turn if you have to resort to using the Impact facility and belt them with a hammer. They do bite and grip screwheads exceptionally well without any cam-out you get from Phillips/Pozi drivers. Handle really grippy too so most screws give in gracefully without having to be shocked out. I wish I'd known about these 30 years ago, rather than just discovering them now..... Better late than never!

One of my favorite tools
I bought this tool for working on my motorcycles and it became one of my favorite tools almost instantly. It works great and I haven’t had any issues at all.

The tool you need for disassembling Japanese motorcycles.
I've had one of these for over ten years, it's still great. Fits common Philips and JIS screw heads, never mangles them. I bought mine for a '92 XV535 that had seen better days and it's probably my favourite screwdriver. It's still in great condition after a decade of use. The impact function works really well on seized screws, but don't expect miracles. Plusgas helps a lot more than WD40 if it's properly stuck though. This one was a gift for a friend who had just bought a Ninja.

Best
Best Philips driver I've ever used for automotive purposes. Works as an impact driver on brake rotor screws and anything else you would need a Phillips for on a car.
